He Is The Greatest Pop Artist To Ever Live

didn't write a song on that album

?
Hello, I'm trying to learn music theory. I was hoping some of you could help me.
I wrote a chord progression that goes like this:
C E G B
A C E B
D A E F
F C F A
The first two chords are Cmaj7 and Amin9 I know but what would I call the second two chords?
Also, given that I'm only using "white notes" that means that the song must be in the key of C or Amin right? Assuming it's in C would the chord progression be I vi ii IV
I would appreciate any input on this.

Is /mu/ still afraid of pop punk/emo pop? I noticed in a Brand New thread the other day that almost no one on this fucking board likes Your Favorite Weapon, when it's a fucking phenomenal album. And the thing is, it was this way when I used to come to this place for music recs back in 2009/2010. Is it just that pop punk is associated with plebs so none of you can like it? Anyone that feels that liking pop punk (which is a genre with a lot of great music) is hurting their indie cred is a pathetic fucking person. Honestly, if you tailor your music taste to being approved in circles like /mu/ you're a complete faggot. Just thought you should know. I would say you'll grow out of it, but it's probably the same people from back then if I had to guess.
Brand New has always been popular here so I'm not sure what you mean lol
>>74648828
Holy shit you are the most insecure person I have ever seen on this board, so fucking pathetic
>>74648861
Only a tiny minority likes YFW, which along with Deja Entendu is the only truly pop punk albums they've done.
And really it's odd that Deja Entendu gets much love, since it's emo as fuck.
Whats some electronic music like Kacey Musgraves? I can't stop fucking listening to her

ITT: Times when the label told the band they needed to make a more accessible album and it actually was good
>>74648790
But it's still got some songs that might drive away normies due to sheer length, such as Moments and Drop.
You'll never be a young folk enjoying the shit out of Graduation and shitting on Curtis on 2007 again.
Why even live /mu/?
>>74648789
But we still shit on 50 Cent.
50 Cent deserves it.
Why did we give him a career and not The Game?

cause 50 cent was legit goodhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5D3crqpClPY

>Conscious hip-hop
I goddamn hate this label
With what other genre do you see people labeling the content as being "conscious"? You don't because that's just a given. Even with the most depraved acts of rock it's still at least genuine and true to itself. Calling something "conscious" as a label just trivializes it. It implies that the most thoughtless and id-inspired hip-hop acts aren't genuine. And what, because it talks about real-world things that makes it "conscious"? That just implies that real life is the only thing that's worth a shit, which with music is the last thing that should be a gold standard.
I get that having a designation as being more intentional/focused has merit, especially in a genre that has a focus largely on the opposite, but this kind of crap is the stuff that will just perpetuate people labeling themselves as being "woke" and other retarded buzzwords.
It's a microaggression. The question is whether you give a shit about microaggressions.
>political punk
>NSBM
>neofolk
>getting mad at subgenres in the first place
>>74648841
>implying "political punk" is a term that is specifically used often and not just an implication
>implying "neofolk" has any flaw akin to the kind of thing talked about in the OP

La vida Boheme is top tier South American music. Second album is GOAT, though their first is probably the best introduction to them. Think LCD soundsystem mixed with more aggressive post-punk/garage. For only 3 albums, they go through quite a big number of sounds
