Now some albums are obviously irredeemably bad on one or less listens.

Why isn't he recording any music these days?
Every album he makes gets better and better. I mean, holy shit, Belus and Fallen were fucking amazing refinements to his black metal work, Umskiptar was amazing fusion work, and Sôl Austan + The Ways of Yore really took his style of ambient to a whole new level.
Varg is the pioneer of his styles and genres and one of the best contemporary musicians in Europe and it makes me sad that he isn't recording with his kids to teach them music or something.
Anyways, I just love everything about Burzum and wanted to make /mu/ talk about it.

I work at a local record store, specifically a Rasputin's, which has a few other locations around the area.
I can safely say I have never met more insane, stupid, and/or downright disgusting customers.
For some reason, music and movies attracts the bizarre crowd from smug dads to drooling retards dumped off in busloads.
Feel free to AMA, but this job is a trainwreck I can't crawl out of because the pain is too good

I agree. The fact that's it's a more complete and cohesive journey than any AnCo release while only being 33 minutes says a lot. The lyrics play a big role in what makes this album amazing, but his musicianship on this was unexpectedly incredible. It's very personal and intimate, and I appreciate this album and Deak for creating it. Even as a long time AnCo fan I have to admit that this quickly became my favorite album of all time.
