Imagine being such a beta cuck that instead of forming your own opinions you watch reviews from hipsters and let them dictate what you should like. Imagine that.
I'd like a band with Wata, 345, and Nao Kawakita :3c

What exactly is butt rock? What are some essential artists of the butt rock genre? What, if anything, differentiates butt rock from dad rock and cock rock? Also, is there such a thing as mom rock then? Thank you for your time. As a reward, here is a picture of a rock in the shape of a butt
It's basically those mid-90s and later radio rock bands that took a thin slice of the edge from the earlier "grunge" stuff but that sound decidedly more tame and generic. Nickelback is the quintessential buttrock band that absolutely defins the term, other big one include Bush, Creed, Live, Hinder, Seether, Puddle of Mudd, Theory of a Deadman, Collective Soul and such other bands like these.

Basically post-grunge from the late 90s and early 2000s. Characterized by angry white boy lyrics, growly vocals, and straightforward 4 chord rock progression. Taken from the rock radio taglines of the era "Nothing but rock". Nickelback would be an exemplar of the genre.
Dad rock is album oriented radio rock from the 70s - the type of stuff your stereotypical dad would listen to in the car a generation ago. Led Zeppelin would be an exemplar of the genre.
Cock rock is glam and/or hair metal from the 80s, characterized by overtly sexual lyrics and the homoeroticization of the band members. Motley Crue would be an exemplar of the genre.
Mom rock is 90s radio soft rock. Characterized by romantic and sentimental lyrics with traditional rock structures often built around piano or synth rather than electric guitar. Phil Collins would be an exemplar of the genre.

Correct opinion my man
I've been trying to figure out a common theme on this album. Or at least a tone.
I really, REALLY like Science Fiction, but I think that whatever cohesive theme(s) are buried a little deeper than usual. The Devil and God was so upfront about religious overtones, morality and self flagellation.
This one I'm getting
>Therapy (in that same breath, introspection?)
>End of the world
>Paranoia
>God and free will
>Bigotry
What do you guys think?
Where do I start with this guy? Any recommendations for similar stuff?
Just get any compilation, he was around before albums were created. Grappelli's stuff is good too, he plays with Django.
