So /mo/, what did you learn about each other's boards today?
literally never visited /m/ before and was pleasantly surprised.
very nice, will visit some time again/10
>>27869
Yeah everyone was really cool, /o/tists and /m/en assimilated great together. Both boards were more than happy to talk about cars, animu robots, and the board culture that went along with them
>meanwhile /mlpol/
i mean, are /m/ and /o/ so different
we both like big machines and going fast
/mo/ for life
>>27833
>>27951
what is /m/ equivalent of gm btfo and ecoboost posting?
>>27967
calm down there, not every board is as shitty as ours
>>27924
>/mlpol/
is fine in its own way. only faggots/newfags whine about it.
it has always been a loud and fast board and the normie and reddit flood is about to format it, choking all the chaos.
the way /mlpol/ is right now is actually healthy for the board because normies and shills can't grasp what the fuck it is and therefore it is more or less only usable for oldfags anymore in this condition.
>>27833
That /o/ loves their cars as much as we like our mechs.
And that's perfectly fine with me. It was a flawless victory that the two boards got along so well.
>>27976
It's kind of funny you mention that. Just a few weeks ago, I was on /v/, when someone mentioned that the only good, comfy board left on 4chan is /o/. Not long after that, I was on /o/ when a few people said they had better discussions about cars on /v/ than they did on /o/.
Every board has shitty parts and jokes that get old after a while. I think when two boards merge, it's like experiencing a board for the very first time. They might bring the crappy parts over, but they also bring the good parts over. As much as everyone hates their own board, there's always something about all of them that makes them great and keeps you coming back. We don't really appreciate it so much when we've been on a board for a long time, but you get to experience it all over again when you're forced to live with another board. It's like reliving the joyous discovery of newfaggotry.
I guess that's what I learned today.
>>27833
I fucking missed it
>>28038
gayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I learned two things.
A) I know nothing about giant robots other than Megas XLR; and
II) a chance combination made a /mo/gical place.
This was such a great board.
I'd really like mergers to be a permanent thing, in a ddition to the normal boards.
/mo/ and /cock/ were specially gems. This day could have been perfect if it wasn't for the Samurai Jack delay asspull from Adult Swim.
Twingos are pretty cute
>>28158
>>27833
i learnt that not only is jewmoot a retard, but /m/ is a shit board
>>27833
hey guys im going to miss our new /m/eme board
/mo/ was actually pretty comfy
>>28064
This.
I hope more people from /o/ start posting on /m/ though, maybe the shitposters on /m/ will finally give up.
>>27833
I learned that /m/ is a pretty cool guy, he likes giant robots and doesn't afraid of anything.
I'm gonna miss this combo board, I thought that it was gonna be a shitstorm but it ended up being super comfy. You're good /m/en, anons.
>>28130
>11:30
>turn on TV
>put on Adult Swim
>expect to see Jack
>see jack shit
>mfw
what happened?
>>28309
>what happened?
Surprise Rick and Morty season 3 premier.
I learned that mecha is comfy. /m/ can hang out at my place any time.
>>28020
That's the good part, though. The /pol/ problem was caused by newfags who came to the site because of the election. Them getting flooded with pony porn is their just desserts; as you said the oldfags aren't having any problems and think it's fucking hilarious.
I learned not to call them transformers as they will get triggered.
>>27833
I've only visited /m/ a couple of times before the merge. Pleasantly surprised, I'll probably visit /m/ more often now, if only lurking.
Hell, all of the board mergers worked out pretty well as far as I could tell, even /mlpol/ somehow pulled it out of the shitter after a while
>>27924
>meanwhile /mlpol/
If you think that's bad, you should see how pissed /out/ is that they got merged with /soc/. They'd rather be merged with /pol/ or /mlp/ over /soc/.I don't blame them
>>27833
While I wish we were merged with /n/ for a shitstorm, /m/ was comfy.
/ok/ would've been even comfier imo, but things went well.
>>27967
>what is /m/ equivalent of gm btfo and ecoboost posting?
We have a guy insists that any toku program older that 10 years old in unwatchable shit, does that count?
Br/o/thers are very nice but I do wish they had experience with more robots outside of Transformers and Megas XLR. I hope that today introduced them to some things outside of that.
>>28512
In that spirit, have you learned anyhting about cars?
>>28538
Not really, sadly.
I did learn however that /o/ shares /m/'s fate of no mods and a tripfag-and-shitposter brigade, so that's nice.
>>28500
eh, close enough
>>27833
/m/ are a pack of autistic weeaboos, their autism is probably on par with /mlp/ which i guess is why they were given a containment board.
>>28593
Love you too
>>28419
It feels like the chemo days of /b/ there now
it's pretty alright, nothing bad. bronies are still weird imo, but they seem to be friendly enough
>>28538
Not that anon, but I did
I learnt that I should probably take better care of my own shitbox.
Seems like with any small issue, /o/ takes action to fix it right away. I dont do that, but now I will.I'll venture into /o/ one day to get help.
I also know never to insult Twingo
I learned about twingos and how we are both men that love our machines.
people who like mecha have extremely shit taste
I learned that while the kinds of machines that we love are different, our love for machines shine brightly nonetheless.
It was a pleasure, /o/. You guys are cool.
Mecha = giant robots
Also, there's apparently a lot of shows about them.
>>29186
>Autistic obsession with fictional cartoon robots
>Some how comparable to an interest and hobby that revolves around real machines
Tell me about the slight differences between your megazords in different japanese animes again friendo.
Don't forget about us, /o/.
That love between a man and his machine whether it be automobile or mecha is the purest form of love. And also that I really need to get around to watching Initial D.
Kind of surprised I haven't seen a twingo mech yet.
>>29166
>posts girl whose design is literally a mecha reference
Typical /a/ pleb
>>29204
Japan adopted mechs as their equivalent to superheroes so yea, there's a ridiculous amount
It's been fun, /m/.
So did nobody point out that /m/ is /o/'s dad?
Maybe I'm the only one left who remembers this, but before /o/, /m/ was the standard place for car posting. It was also the place for weapons before /k/, too.
>>29284
>>29353
Well fuck there it is.
Anyways, made some improvements on >>29328
I learned that there are really nice people on both boards and that tanks(especially the smaller ones) can be cute
>>27967
Valvrager posts and any time G-Reco gets brought up
>>28038
that almost made me cry you faggot
>>27833
meeting new people can be nice
i wish i could do this irl too but i don't know how
>>29353
>Stolen Recaros
i haven't seen you posting with that trip for ages
>>27967
probably gm cant compete zaku threads. ecobewst is to /o/ like ttgl is to /m/ for people who dont actually like auto/mecha but... and settle for less i guess
>>29166
>trigger anime
what a fag
>>29447
Don't forget spicposting and Lazy Matsumoto
