Fucking. Nothing. The animation of Rarity walking is about as cheap as it gets. Her arms are pivoting around a single z-axis to keep it cheap. She's animated on twos so it's not maximally fluid. The compound animation is a little jerky and amateur - could likely be done by one person in ten minutes.

Rarity's torso is one head large while her legs are like two and a half.

You have one scene where a character rolls her hips while she walks. It's a cheap scene that NOBODY must have cared about.

See how her shorts continually snap into frame. There's not a transition from being behind to front. They just go.

Watch Rarity just about hyper-extend her arms, but then slowly eases back to bent elbows even though reaching that maximal extension would probably cause a slight bounce motion.

This is sexy anon? Why? Because the character rocks her hips? As far as I'm concerned, you have to want this to be sexy to think it is. You also have to know nothing about animation to call this good animation, because it's not. It has the obvious faults of Flash and the motions are anything but fluid or elegant.

That's fine. I personally think the edit threads are funny and I make edits from time to time. But part of what makes them amusing for me is that it's like a red-lining exercise. You take these cheaply-designed Flash rigs and then try to turn them into sexy women when clearly that's not what they were meant to be.

It's fine if you're turned on by anything with tits, but I think it's almost insulting to real animators and artists to act like this was somehow a planned attempt at sex appeal or to act like there's some measure of quality behind it. It's not the WORST animation, but it's certainly not good animation either.

Honestly, animation quality doesn't really matter for edits. We just need some good still poses.
Also, the more skilled editors often redraw parts of the body to fix the broken anatomy where necessary.
