To be perfectly honest I loved it but I know that's a fairly unpopular opinion, it certainly had its faults. Absolutely fell apart after the second part of Horse Girls in my opinion, just felt like they were doing something they really didn't want to at that point and put little to no effort into it, but I guess it also died right after that so meh.

Yep, Twilight herself has used harmful magic on Spike in anger, even when he did nothing wrong (S3ep1). That Starlight would stop Trixie, even for magic experimental purposes, and subconsciously put a bubble shield around Spike to protect him already puts her above everyone else in his treatment.

That aside, Spike is perhaps the example Glimmerfags need to show that Starlight has had it in her to not use magic on her friends and display control.
