The 2nd /MLP/ Plays album, that’s what! Following the success of the first one, we decided that the world needs another. Like before, it will be a compilation album from the musicians of /mlp/. There is no specific genre that has to be adhered to, but there will be more guidelines to follow this time.
>What are the guidelines?
This time around, it’s been decided that the music for this album has to be pony related. “But what what does that mean!?” you may be wondering. Well, here is what we mean:
Songs need to be original or redone covers based off of the below conditions. It may be but is not limited to:
•Cover/remix of the music from the show.
•An original that is based off of a riff/motif/recognizable theme from the show
•Original piece that uses samples from the show (probably more than just one gasp at the end. Should really be part of the song)
•Original songs with pony related lyrics, like "Waifu Blues" or "All Ponies Must Be Perfect" from the last album.
•Redoing the music and lyrics to be pony related. Mr. Bones's Wild Ride (Hotel California Parody) from the last album is a good example.
•Includes /mlp/ related maymays/jokes/culture.
•No singing over instrumentals of other artists’ songs. "I Am Awesome" is an example. It would, however, be OK if the instrumental was redone.

You try to roar louder. He gestures with his wing again, so you do it even louder.
"Good for a start, now go for that cloud and inspire some shock and awe."
"I'll try to." You trot to the door, but he grabs your tail.
"You won't 'try', Leaf. Do or bust." He says plainly.
"I'll do it." You nod nervously, nervousness climbing up your gut, and open the door to fly to the ceiling and grab some of the cloud in the pot.
You cringe when it touches your back, but the reflex muscle spasms do their work and redirect the charge to your feather tips-- a shower of sparks that makes your back feel slightly numb.
"Now roar!" Shouts Herb from below.
You open your mouth to roar, but can't emit a sound when you realize a foal or two are watching you curiously.

Yes, but PiE is tasty. The thread has had this name since 2012 and it helps convey that this is what you get when the formula for AiE is reversed.

We ask what happens when one or more ponies (or changelings, or griffons, or something else) are placed in a setting where humans are the predominant species? How does one of those adapt to living in a society where the normal things they do are weird and the weird things humans do are normal?
Beyond that, it's all the writer's choice!
It can be anything between silly or grim, set in the far future or distant past, canon characters or OCs! Ponies could be as rare as bigfoot sightings or as common as next-door neighbors! Are humans friendly or skeptical of the new arrivals? Are they even new arrivals? Is the pony a creation of humans, as with Browser Ponies or Hassenfield Bioengineering? Is Anon around? Is he still a jackass?
The door's wide open, so come on in!

We should build some kind of web system that allows us to coordinate us seeing the film when it's released. Imagine how much better it would be for everyone if the adult fans just went to the last showing of release day at a given cinema. We could minimize the spaghetti of going if we all go in big groups together.
Maybe we could even buy out the last showing of the day in some of the smaller cinemas if there was enough of us willing to spend enough? Also maybe do something nice for a change and find a way to get tickets to families who can't afford to go. More pony fans and more ticket sales = more investment from hasbro and a bigger budget for the show and films.
This is litrally a win-win all round. And I know some of you turbo autists spend a shit load already on the show and will buy a load of tickets like that one guy did for zootopia.
Also, I don't know about you, but I really wanna see the film, but also feel really embarrassed about going just on my own or with a friend.
