Just keeping ponies in enough snow to enjoy themselves is enough to ask - not so deep that it's a hazard or a nuisance to locomotion, not so light that it can melt into a disappointing muddy slush. Maintaining equilibrium isn't that much of a challenge for pegasi, but winter offers a unique canvas for showcasing weather artistry. Preparing the drifts and banks and dusting the trees just so - every day can be a newly pristine view. Do the weather pegasi awaken much earlier than most ponies?

What's next for a big, country-wide celebration that the Princesses can get in on? There must be something that can serve as a respectable excuse to get out and have fun during working hours! Not that it's a major concern, but Celestia was never one to slack in keeping up appearances (much more efficient to get others for gala disruptions and the like) and Luna's been acutely self-conscious since returning from the moon. And ponies love a good party, so it would serve everyone's interests! The proposed Snowfest might be lacking a hook, though.
