Despite the fact that this is fully rendered both ponies look very flat and just odd. The more you go along the worse it gets. Ive looked at some of your works and you come off as someone who likes making pretty pictures and that's it. You hardly have any kind of voice right now. I suppose stuff like that is meant to impress dummies who are easily distracted by dangling keys. It's good enough for pony, I guess. Personally I'm not impressed.

When we last left off, you were discussing Ace’s ability to choose the meals. There’s a brief, but very intense stand-off as you look at him, measuring his face, delving the very depths of his SOUL. And ultimately, you give a single, captainly nod, the tension hissing out of the room in an almost audible way.
“Very well, young Master Chefnado of the Kitchen Battleground,” you say gravely. “The choice is yours, with the caveat! That you must bear in mind the desires of you fellow crewmates when you do so.”
He grins very wide and nods as he gets back to cooking with a furor. “Of course, captain!” He trumpets. “No need to worry about it at all!”
You smile at the sight of his exceedingly skilled cooking going to work when you are tapped on the wither by Sextant, who has a map. “Cap’n?” She says. “I’ve managed to isolate three islands… One of them is the island that Gorgon gave us directions to, which apparently is in the very middle of the see. That would be three week’s travel. Both of the other islands are on the same, route. One appears to be a wooded island, clad in heavy forests and with a strange magic signature I can’t quite identify… The other is a slightly smaller but civilzed island. Which one did you want to shoot for?”

If they're all on the same line then why not all three? We will visit all the islands and befriend all the ponies. Or griffons. Or zebras or changelings or whatever. Doesn't matter. Friendship is for everyone. Tell Silver she gets to map three new islands, and Rivet that she gets to buy one random doodad on each island and try to incorporate it into the engine. Get everyone on board with the plan. And as for Ace, just remind him he has our permission to get fancy with the spices.Praise boats.

It’s been a while!
Across the Ocean is a story about a few foals stranded far from home on a raft. Their raft is now a boat, but the goal remains the same: get home!
Our story is seen through the viewpoint of Dawn, the captain of the boat The Horizon. This is the tale of a filly’s quest to find a way home, and the adventures that await along the way. Accompanying her are her friends and crewmates: Bodi, a pensive and loyal pegasus, Astern, a highly rambunctious colt, and Basil Stem, a reclusive unicorn shaman of sorts. What adventures await in the uncharted waters ahead?

“Aaand… Poof!” You giggle as you send another spark into the air. The five of you – yourself, your crew and the bubbly alpaca Medi – plod along the snow away from the cave where you learned how to do your first magical trick.
“I still can’t believe earth ponies can perform such things…” Basil shakes hie head in disbelief. “After all the research I’ve done on the subject suggesting the contrary...”
Bodi chimes in with a retort to Basil. “Looks like you didn’t have to go through that chaos stuff afterall, man.”

The snow here is perfect for packing. You’re sure that Medi and the other alpacs have something planned for you when you get back to the main village, but you sorta want to explore or play. What do you do?
