Really wish there was a two parter about the CMC. One of my biggest problems with the shows two parter is that there is so little tension in them because of how powerful the main characters are and while to where and back again does a good job of dealing with this issue by nerfing the protagonists, this issue still persists in almost every other two parter (cutie map being the other exception, but that is because its designed differently).

The CMC are very weak characters in the sense that they have no special powers, just their own wits. Having a two parter with them would involve them having to out smart their enemies in order to survive and win. This one scene with Apple Bloom and the Chimera is actually the best adventure related scene in the show just because of the tension it is able to create by Apple Bloom being too weak to beat the Chimera and having to act just to survive.

Has the lack of OC showcases/spotlights killed off the popularity of OCs? I've noticed prominent fandom OCs seem to have disappeared. This place is the only place that unironically creates and discusses them, and having "made by /mlp/" attached to an OC never seems to help them outside of it.
