What is your headcanon regarding relationships and gender roles in Equestria? How common/socially accepted is homosexuality? Is marriage expected whenever two ponies are in love? Is having children a social expectation for all married ponies? Is it the norm for mares to be the authority of their family?

There is no such thing as gender roles, mares and stallions aren't expected to act any different.
Homosexuality, bisexuality and asexuality are seen exactly as heterosexuality. Neither the former are bashed in any form nor the latter has any kind of guilt.
Marriage and children aren't "expected", it's solely a decision of the ponies in love, and no one else's business. Also, homosexual couples could have children thanks to the magic.
Essentially, my headcanon is a world which both /pol/ and Tumblr would hate.
