Yes, being one of the better known Gundam games certainly makes Blue Destiny a hidden gem. That said, yes, those games are amazing.
The Dreamcast game was great and of course the Japanese gamers could order an extra disc when they beat the game.

It had some great /m/ games for sure.
The 1995 Mobile Suit Gundam game for PlayStation is a great arcade-style cockpit simulator where the purpose is to shoot down all the targets per stage. What I like most about this game is the attention to detail for something so quick to play that was also released so early on the PlayStation. It's basic but very fun with a lot of nice touches such as the final stage being more akin to an FPS than all of the prior stages. Surprisingly, the Version 2.0 which was released separately feels inferior as the music isn't as memorable and it has massive framerate issues.
The G-Saviour game on PS2 is another good lesser known Gundam title that delivers on arcade shooting action with quite a degree of skill involved if you're willing to put it in.
