Vanquish and MGRR were two of my absolute favorite games from the last-gen. Very /m/ if you haven't played either of them.

However, it seems like lately they've just been the guys that develop generic hack-and-slash games which can get pretty old.

My issue isn't even the fact that they really like character action games.
My issue is they reuse so many mechanics (witch time dodges, less emphasis on individual moves instead of dial a combo, now they're starting to put parrying into everything) that everything feels fairly same-ey, only with different music and coats of paint.
