Now we're onto Dust which is set in UC169 or something, it looks utterly terrible. The main Gundam has a spinning V Fin that it uses for an attack and I wish I was making that up.

Basically Hasegawa is the poison that stops late UC ever getting anything animated.

I can't wait for Crossbone to get animated because when Bandai Sunrise does it the only thing that will remain will be the original 3 Crossbone units.

They'll put Katoki in charge of every unit and he'll pretty much get rid of everything and change them to look more like a mix of F91 and Victory. There won't be a single Hasegawa original left.

They'll completely rewrite everything to the point Hasegawa's story doesn't exist anymore.

They'll get a new character designer to change every design to either fall in line with F91's Yas style, or a new style all together.

Because let's face it the only thing anyone actually gives a shit about with regards to Crossbone is X-1, X-2, and X-3.

Bandai pretty much only sells Katoki variants of the Crossbone units. Even all the videogame versions are based off the Katoki alterations done for the gunpla lines. Even Phantom had to get the Katoki treatment before Bandai started doing anything with it.

There's some new guy cause the Anchor is supposedly constructed from a Crossbone unit, and Font Braud from Ghost shows up leading a new Titans unit trying to reunite the warring factions or something. Seabook showed up briefly in Ghost to pilot the X0, but probably went back to his bakery after the Zanscare war ended.

It's basically his career now, for better or worse, so he has no choice but to keep milking it. That, or actually try and make some original content and risk failure, but he's probably making a comfortable living mining the Crossbone name for all it's worth, so I doubt that'll happen.
