If you're going for the GxS secrets, your other secret options basically come down to a choice between saving Ken and Felme, or saving the Fafner kids. None of them are particularly useful which obviously means you should save the Fafner kids. They deserve to live. Besides, they have combination attacks and some nice spirits, which I guess counts for something.

V-Ups strengthen units based on the number of part slots. If a unit has four part slots, it gives a lot more power to HP, EN, Mobility, Armor, Limit, weapons, and whatever the fuck else they increase than if that unit has three parts, or two, or only one. For instance, in one game, a unit with 1 part slots gets +100 weapons power, a unit with 2 gets +200, 3 gets +300, and 4 gets +400. (Of course, since you can stack them, that really means they can get up to +100, +400, +900, and +1600 - which is why V-Ups are broken)

In future games, they would be split into V-Up (U)s and V-Up (W)s (or W-Ups) to weaken them, but C1 was their first appearance, and not only were they all together, they were MUCH STRONGER than in future appearances.

Go look at L-Gaim before putting them on, then look at it afterwards.

Noriko's only bad in that she also has that extraordinarily high Miracle level. 86 is huge and effectively unattainable, but there are people who get Double Move in the 90s in Alpha 1. (Britai reaches it at Level 99, you know, incase you wanted him to have Double Move in the single scenario with him)

The reason 70 is so huge here is because the final boss of Compact 1 is at Level 48. 45 is reachable by the final stage, though your entire squad won't be at that point. 70? Ahahahahahano.

That was Super Robot Wars Fun/Final.
Honestly I think this is Winkysofts best game.
It feels they really put they're heart and soul into the game and they're are so many good moments.
But this game really needs a remake if only so it's working on a non fucked damage formula.
Also from the bottom of my heart I want to thank all of you guys, I hope my playthrough encourages all of you to play through it eventually.

The original 3 games were considered to have performed pretty poor and they were supposed to have been told to shelf the series after 4 was released. Instead 4 ended up some kind of runaway success and one of the most popular SRPG genre games at the time.

Just look how many remakes, ports, spinoffs 4 they made in the following years after that. In actual fact the Sega Saturn F Final was the first ever SRW to break the first week half million sales barrier.

F on the SS also broke it but it was in cumulative sales. Shin supposedly did that too from riding on the coat tails of 4's success I suspect.

You wouldn't see a SRW reach those kinda first week sales figures again until Alpha came out almost 5 years later and it still holds the record I believe.

Each has their own Flame Giant, Raiking and Vulking, and some weapons that can be used by them or stolen and used by Gaiking. Once all three are on the same side they can use Raiking's arms and Vulking's legs to make Gaiking the Great.

Dvorak is a fourth dragon made by Proist. It doesn't have a robot like the other three do, it just sort of goes around wrecking shit. Its head is shaped like that goofy Face Open head from the original Gaiking as a homage.

You know, it occurs to me that they've already invented the solution to the problem Super Toku Wars had where giant robots can't really combat humans and humans can't effectively combat giant robots.

If they ever make a new Super Toku Wars, they should slap GC's size targeting system in. Big robot finishers and melee attacks and shit can't target little guys, but they can use missiles or lasers or very wide radius of effect attacks or that sort of thing. And then little guys can't really target the main HP bar of the big guys, they'd have to focus on the machine's parts (with the exception of, again, big wide area of effect attacks and maybe some finishers). And then the Snipe Spirit and the Sniping Skill allow you to basically do anything if you're using someone particularly gimped by this and wish to fix that.

It doesn't. But Kaiser gets flight halfway through the game, so glitching a flight unit into it is only useful for a short while. On the other hand, giving it a solar panel is useful for the entire game, considering how much of an EN whore J Mazinkaiser can be sometimes.

And if you find yourself needing flight before Kaiser gets its scrander, you can always just equip a flight unit normally.
