mecha games/series that don't get the love they deserve and why.
>>13483340
Pic unrelated.
Fifteen games is plenty of love.
>>13483379
no OP, but say that to the sales and fandom.
This thread is now:
Mecha games that should get anime adaptations
* Armored Core
* Virtual-On
* Kikaioh (Tech Romancer)
* Cyberbots (Full Metal Madness)
* Hyperdyne Side Arms
>>13483523
Mechwarrior.
>>13483399
If it's gotten 15 games then it's obviously been selling well enough.
>>13483523
Armored Core, but which one?
I say AC4. It has the simplest story, full of anime cliches, and animated NEXTs would be a joy to watch.
Alternatively, Master of Arena for watching the anime only fags' reaction to the TWEEST.
>>13483379
He could be talking specifically about Last Raven, compared to other entries.
>>13483523
>Mecha games that should get anime adaptations
Cruise Chaser BLASSTY*
*The original -- but I'd be cool with an anime of the Hobby Japan remake too.
>>13483523
>Mecha games that should get anime adaptations
Gigantic Drive*
*a.k.a. R.A.D. (Robot Alchemic Drive)

G-Breaker
A/Z

AC4 only if we get a 50ish episode run where the second season is FA. I want to shitpost about League vs ORCA with anime peeps.
Master of Arena is a patrician choice for an AC OVA. Wouldn't need to be too long and I'd love to see AC brought to life in OVA tier animation.
Pre Evolved Front Mission.
>>13483836
I fucking love this game. Sandlot needs to make a sequel

Good call! Also pic related.

Xardion

God, I want a sequel to this so badly.
If there's some ancient pagan rite that brings about sequels, I will spill as much blood is needed for that.

motherfucking BRAVE SAGA
I want my BurnGarn and Saber Varion!
>>13485905
derp. Forgot pic.
>>13483523
A ZoE adaption that sticks to the games story and then some (not that what we got wasn't goo but I'm greedy)
>>13483836
The brilliant part is that it's already written like an anime as well as split into 50 Episodes
>>13485340
Yes
>>13483545
it got a couple of games sure, but look at fromsoft now, it has to keep making reskins BECAUSE how well they've been selling
>>13483716
the best choice would be 4 era, inclunding FA as a S2, NEXT are the closest thing to the current trend on who mechas are on anime right now, the plot would is simple but fun and Fiona will serve as the waifu bait during the first season.
FA would be great for the combats specially the arms forts, I bet watching anime fags discussing wich route would be the best is going to be fun.Destruction path as a what if scenario OVA.
If the anime give us a original or parallel story to one of the games, the I vote for VD
>>13485863
wanst murakumo shit? at least on gameplay?
sunrider
/m/ there's this old game from the ps2 era iirc. You had a mech similar to the garland from megazone 23 and could transform into a motorcycle but it wasn't robotech invasion.
I also remember the graphic style being similar to virtual on
>>13486004
It's already an anime simulator. God, I love wrecking that shitty girl's life.
>>13483716
Master of Arena should be a must if they ever decide to animate AC.
I guess they should do something like:
Master of Arena
AC2
AC3
Silent Line
Nexus
Last Raven
The other games can be made into spin offs like VOTOMS did, stuff like Project Phantasma or Ninebreaker.
Just don't give full direction to Kawamori so he can't shove in Aidoru shit.

>>mecha games/series that don't get the love they deserve and why.
Slave Zero has an interesting premise that can go many places with today's technology. It got little love back in it's day because it was "too simple" for some and because the Dreamcast version turned many, many away.

A-Argevollen!
I think that, Exo-Squad was a good series.
>>13483340
After Silent Line Armored Core became shit.
>>13487516
Who cares? The mecha were cooool
>>13490301
Exo-Squad was very well written indeed. Its animation was kinda yucky and the mecha designs were also kinda yucky, but it was a really good story.
>>13490304
>he needs the no spread SMG crutch
>he can't manage booster heat
Last Raven is the ultimate 3rd gen game, and 4th and 5th gen are also great.
Deal with my opinions.
Lost planet 2 is really cool, and no one mentions that
