Hello Symphogear General, I am SymphobattleDev, and I have a treat for you guys who may like tabletop RPGs:

Yeah it's the writers that decide how they act, but at the end of the day, that's still who she is now.

She all this? That's gone now because of what Hibiki did. Genjuro and Miku were two of the best characters in the series. They were perfect support characters, and they were run into the ground and then cast aside in GX. In universe, that was Hibiki's doing.

Quick question. Looking over the rules you made there's something weird with gear users abilities. A small ability can only have one component, but range is a component that you have, so what do? If I make a small ability with the component pierce, is it an attack with the normal range of my armed gear? Does it just not have a range cause range components cost phonic gain. Well, by any of the Gears, really, or even Genjuuro or Elfnein. But they'd all give different kinds of hugs, you know? Maria and Tsubasa would be tender and warm (though Maria would be a good deal softer), Hibiki and Kirika would be cheerful and full of vigor, Chris would be a tsundere hug, Shirabe and Elfnein would give those tight, clingy hugs as they try to get more of your warmth.

I've done manual labor, worked 12-24 hour shifts as an EMT, and now I work in a lab. I like to sleep at least 7 hours, and I don't drink coffee. Steady hands, clear mind, and I don't yawn and nod off all day. I'm someone who has trouble falling and staying asleep, and even I won't pretend that 4-6 hours a night is all you need to be on top of your game.

How do you think the gears sleep? Tsubasa probably has her body conditioned to function on the bare minimum required. Maria gets plenty of sleep and wakes up on time in the Morning every time. The others seem like they'd be a big sleepers who always ask for 10 more minutes.

That's called sleep debt. There are a lot of people who think it's normal to function on only a few hours of sleep (actual mutations that make people sleep less and alter their sleep cycles exist, but they're pretty fucking rare and their long term/overall effects aren't known) because their job forces them to, and because they're able to function well enough to get their work done. A lot of people mask their drowsiness with caffeine as well. Despite real life demanding it, it's just not good for you. Your brain isn't as sharp as it should be due to neuroreceptor sensitivity, your hormones get out of whack, you can't focus as well, and you can't use your muscles as well. I don't do short amounts of sleep for extended periods of time, but sometimes I have to do it in spurts of a week or so. It's easy for me to see the difference in how easily I can do certain tasks, how quickly and efficiently I can do calculations, how well I can write in different languages, how often I make simple English mistakes, and how much I can lift at the gym.

tl;dr- Don't underestimate the value of sleep. If your body is telling you to sleep, then you should try to do it.

We focus on Hibiki's last year at Lydian, and how she has no idea what she wants to do with her life post graduation (If she even can considering her grades). Rescuing people sure has its perks, but she can't fist her way through everything in life. Much like how G was "You're Symphogearing too much" and how GX was "You're not determined enough so you don't get to Gungnir at all", S4 would focus on "How much is too much Gearing?", with Hibiki going AWOL from SONG after some event with the new antagonists causes her to screw up and a group of bystanders get caught in the crossfire. I think in S4 the focus should be on Hibiki mostly, most of the other characters have reached a satisfying conclusion to their past issues. But i feel hibiki's ideals still remain somewhat warped to the point of delusion in some cases.
Personally to create some character growth i believe the antagonists actions should create some sort of realization in Hibiki. You could make them directly antagonistic to SONG itself (blaming SONG cause of carols death Beam) seeming wanting nothing more than its destruction until the true plan is revealed and have them use tactics such as demoralizing hibiki during a fight as a way of bluntly criticizing her ideals. Eventually these tactics backfire as she comes to terms with the flaws in her beliefs and comes up with a better way to be practical with them.Though Not before having a pitched x-drive vs x-drive kung-fu battle on the moon.

I just want it to be exciting in S4 at the very least. There was no sense of 'anything could happen' in GX, Carol was too predictable and powerful. Even when she died partway through, her coming back to life meant nothing because everyone knew she could

My favorite idea for a Gear has always been Kavacha. It's a set of armor from Hindu mythology that couldn't be penetrated, even by holy weapons. I like the idea of a purely defensive "mighty glacier" style Gear who has no major mobility options and no reach (so even shorter range than pure melee Hibiki), but is brutally strong and can no-sell attacks that would have killed other Gears. Possible extensions of that power would be barrier warrior I guess, a la Bartolomeo from One Piece.

Noah's Ark.

It turns into a giant spaceship when activated, and by association(Similar to how Ichiaval gets guns of all forms), it now has turrets, AA guns and everything a warship have, even a flight deck for a few squads of autonomous fighters.

I'm trying to figure out how Noah's Ark would work as a Relic friend.

Especially since Noah's Ark never had any weaponized utility aside from being a ship. I want people to have fun and all with my game but I don't think you can do Noah's Ark with guns.

I -am- working on non-Doll companion rulings though. So maybe you use Noah's Ark and you can summon an animal clad in Symphogear or somesuch? These rulings are mainly for Alchemists having a summon ability though for Arcanoise.

Otherwise, using a fragment of Noah's Ark would probably make it so you can Ogawa on top of water, be able to have insane ramming power, or something. Utility wise maybe?

Well, its a ship.

Warships fall under that category.

Maybe make it a carrier instead?
Like, it carries a group of autonomous fighters.

The fighters are the "animals".

Of course, it can carry normal geah users as well.

Maybe give it a time limit on its usage by saying that its size requires more phonic gain to maintain and thus having a limit to how long it can be maintained in its ship form before the user collapses from fatigue.

Alternatively, its a summoner-class.

Basically summons geah animals to fight for the user.

The Zesshou brings out the full ship with its full arsenal of all the geah animals.

The former would be Brionac and the latter Kintaro-no-Masakari.

Brionac is an amalgamation of Lugh's spears with flames, jet boosters and spear bits. An incredibly versatile Gear.
Kintaro-no-Masakari is a massive hatchet with electricity properties. Physical boosts given are more massive than the average Gears'. May or may not allow one to commune with animals. I like the idea of the hatchet being able to be flipped over and used as a gun.

I know it's easy mode, but just shuffle the Symphogear Seiyuu. Make the high sing low and the low sing high - Tsubasa takes Chris' songs, DMJii take Tsubasa and Maria songs, Chris takes Hibiki songs, Hibiki takes Miku or DMJii, etc etc.
