Like i said in my earlier posts i had to downgrade phones. The stock camera app is complete shit but google cam app is slightly better sonce i can change iso and whatnot, but what i noticed is it cant really focus since the stock camera doesnt for some reason. If you don't have anything important on it you might as well back up your contacts and reset the phone. Oh i kinda fugd up the inside that holds the arms. But i did replace the right arm with an old fg zaku arm that has some mobility while the grabber arm is permently in a fixed spot. I have the ms cannon set i was thinking of using those or modding a rocket launcher for it

First time taking photos with new setup, it went well. Samsung S6 has a gorgeous camera. The finish on the kit is kinda shitty - got some dust in various stages of the process - so I tossed some of the more dramatic closeups.

I could see why straight oob builders hate the Super Fumina so much. Face is a nightmare, articulation around the waist is terrible because of the design, few weapons and the exclusion of the ability to use some like the sabers and gattling forearms. I actually think that Super Fumina has great potential with painting and kitbashing though, so I can't wait to see what they do with it on reddit.

1) Make or buy a photobooth. I'm using a Foldio 2 with diffusers (http://orangemonkie.com/product/foldio2-pre-order/) - ignore the URL, it's Korea, the product's out and shipping - it's not the greatest thing ever but it does the job for now, and I don't need extra lighting outside the box, and at 15" it's just the right size for MG and HG kits. I definitely build some stuff that won't fit in here, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

2) Phone. Standard app. Pro mode. Set ISO to 100. Change your White Balance based on background color - Auto probably isn't correct. Set filter to either Standard or Vivid (check between the two for each different background color, it'll change how they feel). Leave camera focus on auto and just use the tap-to-focus function. Go back down to brightness and step down between 0 and -1 with -1 being "black background" and 0 being "white background".

Let the camera lie for you. The kit is much more solid green than this awesome blue transition feel that it has here, but the shadow tone of blues get exaggerated to what I wish it looked like in real life all over, especially on the black backgrounds.

There's a few painted Super Fumina pics out there and it still looks goofy due to the face. The MechGaikotsu review is hilarious because he is straight up snap pleb and he reviewed the FAG Gourai a while back and complained that it looked dull and plain. He also said in the comments that Subpar Fuminer would blow it away.

origin char zaku is an incredible easy build, and imo it should be put in the guide specifically. you'll probably have troubled with shin's himo because the lower body comes with alot of small parts and the spiked shoulder shield had some odd gate placement for nippers/hobby knife. I'd recommend grabbing a Zaku I (any variant) and the Zaku II, which can be nabbed on Amazon for $22 together atm
