I like SEED quite a bit. I probably like 00 slightly more, though. They're very different stories so it's hard to compare them directly except in direct comparison of similarly designed suits in which I'd have to say 00 has the upper hand.. Kyrios and Arios are clearly better than Raider, for example, but do I like Freedom better than 00. Exia is far superior to Sword Strike in my opinion, and SEED has no real equivalent to things like Virtue and Seravee, Cherudim and Strike Noir are pretty closely tied, I'd say. As for the bad guys, the Thrones have got nothing on Duel, but I don't really care for Abyss, Chaos, Forbidden, Gaia, Aegis, or Justice. But then again, that retarded Powerlord that Ribbons was piloting against Setsuna just pales in comparison to Providence or Legend. The Bling Gundam contest goes to Akatsuki over Alvaaron, but grunts like the Daggers or ZAKU aren't nearly as cool as the Flag and Tieren, to say nothing of the A-Head and GNX.

In terms of storyline, I can only say that SEED got a second 50 episode series that, while not quite as good as the first series, still shits all over that retarted movie 00 got.

It did happen, in the original tv broadcast and dvd version. I think the HD remaster cut some of that, but I've never watched it so I'm not sure. iirc one was Athrun's report to ZAFT about the Strike's capabilities, the other was that engineer lady on Onogoro Island monologuing to her computer about her impression of everything Kira went through. Neither episode was 100% recap, but they were still both mostly repeat footage.
