Seriously, the fuck are you on? I take some issues with the Strike's design myself, but I'd never describe the striker packs positively when it comes to aesthetics.

Personally I think the Strike looks best without any striker packs attached at all.

They should have just replaced the Armor Schneiders with beam sabers and called it a day. Would have been a true AU successor to the RX-78.

Duel is the analog to the RX-78-1. It's color scheme is off compared to the Strike.

I get what you mean though, they are similar and the Duel has the integrated backpack thrusters with the beam saber mounts.

But striker packs or no, I like the Strikes lack of a huge built-in backpack. And when I made the comment about replacing the knives with beam sabers, I meant just that: put them in the skirt armor a la Zeta. They fit.

Now you have sleek modern gundam with the full traditional loadout but no ugly backpack.

They also double as throwing knives as well.

My personal opinion is that they should have gave the Strike derivatives a knife or two in addition to their new beam weapons.

I don't think it was supposed to be anyone's. I think it was supposed to be the 4th OP but when Bandai insisted they pimp out the Wings of Words guys (that's why the song was so weird btw, it wasn't planned but the suits insisted) they changed it to an insert song because they'd been hyping the song that TM specially wrote for Destiny for months so they had to use it somehow.

They also made a snippet of it the preview music for some reason. They were just sticking it anywhere they could be they had to use it.
