I like it, the 2nd ep gave me a kind of soldier and knight vibe. With the MSs being the knights that rule the battle field at least till a enemy knight shows up.

Kinda like how Mechwarrior is suppose to be.

I guess no anons are seeing what I'm seeing, but I've been getting a major Starsiege vibe from this.

Everything about the setting is great (and I can even tolerate the child soldier shit because of the plot device control interface), but it feels like it's all being ruined by the same weeb cliches.

There were things that really struck out in the first episode like the depictions of children on Mars. As far as I can see, it's extremely rare for depictions of dire poverty to appear in mass market media. Showing starving children begging, performing hazardous physical labor (including sex work), and generally being treated like shit sets up some of the other aspects of the show (like the main characters all being children) as more plausible than they otherwise might be. The value of life is not high at all, which makes Space Privilege Princess an acceptable foil to the Space Autist protagonist.

In the context of 23 minute long ads for gunpla, it's not bad at all. I really want HG Mobile Workers (both Martian and Terran) as well as Graze variants. From what I can tell about the actual gendums, they all look like shit and I hate them.
