Found this when I went off to preorder my copy. Rankings are refreshed hourly apparently but right now there's quite the demand for twintails.

There was a titanic reference where there wasn't one and a hitler with a death ray joke they put in Twirl's mouth. I don't even want to know what they swapped out with that pearl harbor bit especially since the views on that subject would obviously be very different in Japan.

It may seem harmless from the consumer point of view but their localization work ethic is beyond disrespectful to the stuff they work on from a translator's perspective. You'd never know where exactly they fucked up or shit on unless it gets so jarring so how can you tell if you're getting the story the way the author wrote or the way Commie think it should be done. At no point is it the translator's job to "improve" the story content the way Commie does.

Just finished reading it. Played out more straightforward than I was hoping for and the returning characters weren't the ones you'd expect but still a great volume for Souji and Tyrano Guildy with lots of nice lines and moments for everyone. Solar is a bit of a curveball and how Souji gets ultimate chain has some very amusing parallels to a certain shonen jump series. I'll post up the spoilers in /a/ later in a few hours.

It should but that twintail emblem behind the Tail Regalia in >>13423646 actually does materialize right after he transforms. The whole "Solar is holding back your true power but now is giving you a second brace to power up" reminded me of Bleach and that description sounds a bit like how Yhwach did drew out a bow in the sky to get his sword. There was also a line where Souji said he felt like his twintails were one with the earth and could grasp the very atmosphere with them.

More accurately filled with obtuse descriptions, very japanesey prose, quite a few japan specific references/memes and a vocabulary for obscure kanji(I'm talking dozens I've never run into before reading this and a handful I can't find in my JP dictionary software) that makes Nisio seem reasonable. I'm not entirely sure if me having a much easier time reading vol 10 is because he's tightened up his writing or I just got used to handling his style.

In JRPG terms it's that optional boss that gives you one of the best weapons in the games that'll save you a lot of trouble in future fights cause if you can read this at a decent speed then you're set for most other manga and LNs raw.

Attempt it if your love of twintails or ponytails is true.

Incidentally, it seems that Kasuga's been clued in on the Solar being a goddess for some time now. There was a bit in one of the chapters in vol 3 where Akane was explicitly said to be more akin to a goddess than a king in Dandelion. Also, the dad's name is written similarly to Souji's in that the kanji in their names are:
