What's the reading/watching order of the Devilman series?
Devilman thread I guess
How about production order. Y'know, like it was intended.
I guess either one works. The biggest change between the 2 is the ending (which in terms of impact on the story if significant).

OVA's go 1,2 and 3. Bt there is based off a spin off manga but still cannon to other two. Not as good either but still fun.
Anime is jsut a straight run, the Vs. film isnt cannon to it.
Manga goes Devilman, Shin, Lady, Neo, Amon Darkside, Strange Days, Akuma Kishi and Saga. A few shorts dotted about the place aswell.
Then there's alt universe kinda manga like Grimoire, the Hiruta manga, the Vs series etc.
Plus there's four dante manga series which are semi related.
Violence Jack isn't a sequel to Devilman. Although the events of Devilman happened in its world, it should be considered an alternate universe/continuity. It's more of an all-star story involving the casts of several of Nagai's comics.

Devilman original manga is the only thing worth your time. The rest is your typical Nagai shit
>>12437162
Read the first manga (Devilman, not Shin Devilman).
Then do whatever the hell you want after that.

The Devil Lady anime isn't all that bad.

Watch the two OVAs.

I love those fags. Nagai should make more BL
Reminder that Satan did nothing wrong
Watch CB Chara Go Nagai World at some point after you've finished reading Devilman. One of the most badass things Kouji ever does is try to Breast Fire the shit out of Satan.
Manga continuity: Devilman (1972)
TV Anime continuity: Devilman (1972)
OVA continuity: OVA 1, OVA2.
Amon continuity: abosolutly fucking nothing
Choose your poison. I recommend menu entries 1-3 in any order.
if only there was more of birdtits
