I really didn't enjoy this movie and it's tied as my least favorite Vs movie along with Go-busters Vs Gokaiger
For starters there are only two scenes where the entire cast were together, right in the final battle, and the early scenes with suit-only Kyoryugers, aside from Daigo. The Kyoryuger cast except the actor who played Daigo and Utchy spent more in ADR than being in the movie physcially. Salamaz was a cool looking villain and then they aborted that cool design without him getting so much as a fight scene in favor of a mech fight with Crows in a train costume. Debius was a cool villain until he did absolutely nothing and for someone to have been presented as a greater threat than Deboss at the end of Kyoryuger, he was destroyed to easily. The final battle was very short and underwhelming and I noticed that their wasn't any music playing which made the scene feel empty. I did enjoy the fight scene with the Kyoryugers and mini-Toqgers and the roll call with the Kyoryugers getting a helmetless one and I thought it was funny that Nero attempted to do his own.
Also been noticing that almost every sentai Vs movie with the current team being head written by Kobayashi had them as the primary focus with the returning team being either just there or afterthoughts.
I'll give this movie a 5/10
Conversely, I went in expecting it to suck and came away loving it.
>This is seriously the most likeable the ToQgers have ever been. Quite possibly the Kyoryugers too.
>Daigo learns a lesson and is humbled for once in his cunting life.
>The big fight isn't at the rock quarry for once and they do a lot to mix things up.
>Oh my god the little kid stunt actors did really well.
>"You don't talk much, do you?"
>That was a fucking cool aerial shot of the quarry at the very end.
>Why the fish train
>Why was the big mech fight against a fish train
>Why did they only show the fish train in the ads
>Why do you fuckers think no kids wanted to see your movie if all you show is the fish train
>Maybe the final Debius fight would've been better if you hadn't blown your load on the FISH TRAIN.
>Daigo and Amy arrive together
i fucking hate you movie ;_;
Yayoi whyyy ;_;
We must move past our anger. I enjoyed when they popped on screen, made me feel like a giddy kid when he started the rollcall.
Oh yeah, and FUCKING MAIKI OUT OF NOWHERE. That was another good part.
Don't do this at home kids.
These kids better do well later in life, they're great. Kagura's especially.
>but people don't care because HURR OVERTIME IS THE ONLY GOOD SUBGROUP!!!!!!!
Actually it's because they did Kyoryuger and ToQger and they got the mannerisms down on both sides just right. IS is fine and all, I just wanted OT's subbing style in check with everything. You really are making a mountain out of a molehill here.
>The bad guys come at the end to help
god fucking dammit thats the trope i like the most.
Like sheeeit fucking Barone and his pose.
But i fucking love evil guys siding with the good guys.
Also that Ian joke
>definitely cute but that out of bounds even for me
i enjoyed this, could have been better but i enjoyed it.
Honestly, instead of ragging about the fish train I feel like they shouldn't have wasted such a nice suit. Salamaz's suit was so nice and we just get that train thing. Funny joke, but I'm a bit saddened.
This is not brave! Not brave at all!
ToQgers get off really great in this movie. The small interactions between Akira and Utchy are fantastic, the entire scene where they
try to understand the severity of what will happen if they mess upwas extremely well done from every member of the ToQgers in my opinion, and the Kyoryugers still get a bunch of time to shine as well. I'm about 60% through it right now and aside from the aforementioned fish train I've loved it. I'm bias as hell though, I loved both series.
None of them will ever attain the stylishness that is Odagiri Joe, either way.
Mio's busy with her new job anyway.
Utchy and Akira seriously were the best. I so wanted more scenes but I'll take what I can get.
For our phone-inclined friends.
So, I take it you can't play webms on a smartphone at all?
Just bought my first, will probably just use it to play SRW on an emulator and shitpost on /m/ around open wifi places, so I need to know.
I think it's just iPhones, but I'm not entirely sure. I just know that a couple people asked me to make gifs because webms didn't work on their phones so the ones that work as gifs I make.
nigga how you get this high ass resolutions on your webm? i tried making one with sound of the whole transformation thing, no size limit and in 480x640 rez and it looks like shit.
>of the whole transformation thing,
That's your problem on top of the audio. You know the entire Kyoryuger part? All that green in the background is most of the reason you have bloat. Green is the color of the devil for both gifs and webms. I wanted to do the entire helmetless scene in one webm but the Kyoryugers immediately axed that idea.
It's weird. I feel like this is the first VS in a while to actually have a decent amount of action from both teams but at the same time it feels like the actual actors for the Kyouryugers were barley even in it. What's up with that?
>The future surely is strange, de gozaru
>What a strange custom, throwing your hands up like that. I'd better do that too.
>He liked it! I knew I could make it on my own in the future.
>mfw banging chicks that weren't even alive to see me as a based superhero.
Man, I love Utchy. Any chance of a sound version of this?
I was very disappointed they didn't go through with a roll call. I kinda wish the villains had teamed up a little more, at the end of the roll call I was getting Geki vs Go-On vibes.
Anon please, she's 17 now.
