Maybe, but there's a catch. You can watch a few episodes of either or the live movie to get the gist of things, since both shows aren't fully subbed and won't be any time soon ( and no, '08's guess subs do not count).

As such, it's a miracle that this installment will get full subs period. It's the only Time Bokan-related Yatterman iteration besides Royal Revival to get this distinction.

The translations for the opening songs are weak and diluted the meaning of some of the lyrics. But then again, that's exactly why I don't translate song lyrics when I'm working on something. The rest of the show is pretty good. Generally a lot better than Crunchyroll's stuff.

I'll do it with implications of the first episode.
It doesn't matter if the people of Yatter Kingdom are actually bad since I'm explaining the thought proccesses of the characters with available information by the end of episode 1.
The female protagonist grows up in a desolate land hearing about a great place called Yatter Kingdom synonymous with the portrayal of America in the eyes of many poor people in Africa. Her mother becomes sick so she decides to venture over to ask them to cure her mother. Before she is able to ask, when she tries to enter Yatter Kingdom, she is denied entry by the border patrol. She is forced to return home.

This is where the story sends a horrible message. She reasons that Yatter Kingdom is full of horrible people because they turned her around. She thinks she is entitled to their help and medication just because "[She] has done nothing wrong." All the while, triumphant music played in the background and other characters supported her as if she just came upon an amazing realization.
Hell if everyone deserved what other people worked hard to discover, create, and achieve just because they have "done nothing wrong" then nobody would do anything to contribute and advance society and resources would be sucked dry.
Just image if America allowed entry to every illegal immigrant from Africa and gave all of them medication. Where would they take the money from to fund this? Taxpayers?
It's disturbing to see that the liberal mindset flows like this and has manifested itself into a TV show. People are not all born equal and should not be entitled to not only other people's fruit of blood and sweat but another country's as well just because they have "done nothing wrong." Should they provide for one in need it should be an act of generosity received by gratefulness. Should help be declined, it should not be received with contempt.
It's funny that if you replace a few names and change the landscape a little, people become blind to the BS they're being brainwashed with.

See, this is what you get from it. It was obviously implied (literally had fanfare blasting in the background) that the MC mainly thought they were bad because she was denied medication for free even though she din do nuffin.
What you infered and what was implied are 2 completely different things. In EP 1 she barely even thought about the exile.

The introduction of Yatterpug in episode 4 pretty much confirmed this. Slightly disappointing, but understandable. The YK wouldn't be as threatening if their robots kept the goofier classic/traditional designs.
