The sixth OVA. There's seven OVAs, the first six came with the BDs and are short fun eps with not much tank in them while the seventh is half an hour long and shows the skipped Anzio fight (that turned out to be surprisingly cool).
>all dem specials
Much as I like & enjoy GuP, the absence of overtly futuristic or fantastical war machines (asides from city-carriers & being nominated for the Seiun Awards) doesn't really make it a very board-appropriate subject imho (yes, we had a pretty long thread about it last week, but the occasional outlier thread is okay, etc.).
Meanwhile on /k/:
>It's a sticky
>tfw the Maus was a more intimidating and scary opponent when it appeared than the Neo Zeong.
When the Neo Zeong appeared I went "another oversized Zeon MS for our Gundams to defeat". When the Maus appeared I wouldn't stop shitting bricks for an hour.
Don't bother. Drive right up to it and facehug the big sumbitch. It is literally impossible for it to shoot something right next to it due to a combination of barrel length and limit of depression.
All of them. Fucking Maxfactory is driving me bankrupt
All Garupans are best Garupan.
But my personal favorite is Naomi.
>dat short hair
>dat sloped frontal armor
>dat coolness under fire
I approve your taste
The correct answer is all of them.
But that's a bullshit cop-out. So I'd have to say pic related. Followed by the B1
volley team was the best
mostly because they did all that so save their club
no there's still the requirement of having advanced robotics which is prevalent in war machines. Obviously if you wanted to talk about real life tanks and planes the first stop would be /k/ but that doesnt mean you can't talk about shows/series that contain planes and tanks on /m/.
>When the Neo Zeong appeared I went "another oversized Zeon MS for our Gundams to defeat". When the Maus appeared I wouldn't stop shitting bricks for an hour.
Same here. Unlike other MAs that raped the battlefield, the Neo Zeong barely did anything.
The Black Forest's Maus, meanwhile, only had to graze an Oarai tank to leave it out of commission. And the protagonists didn't even intervene in that battle.
>Obviously if you wanted to talk about real life tanks and planes the first stop would be /k/
Last time I checked, /k/ was the board dedicated to white Americans who are looking for a place to talk about African-Americans.
Agreed, not scary. Especially when it became apparent that the German school was going to completely squander all their advantages in firepower and armor protection because of stupidity and pride.
Neither was the Neo Zeong, of course.
Congrats, you're an absolute newfag who has no idea what he's talking about.
You're also a newfag who has no idea what's he's talking about and is a fan of a shitty anime that isn't accurate about tanks at all.
>You're also a newfag who has no idea what's he's talking about and is a fan of a shitty anime that isn't accurate about tanks at all.
And you would know this, I'm sure.
Ten-year vet? Armchair general? Your grandpappy show you the ins and outs of Shermans and Tigers in his spare time?
I don't think I said anything about realism.
I'd like to see the person I quoted be a bit more thorough about highlighting every perceived inaccuracy, though, since the show actually put a bit of effort into studying tanks and getting down their history and whatever.
Unless you're referring to the handful of certain moments like, what, the Hetzer lifting up a Maus and a Pz 38 going crazy on a bunch of KV-1s?
The thing is, if they don't take it out, the enemy effectively have the town under their control, remember, the Maus doesn't need to hit them to take them out. They can get out of there, but the rest of the enemy are out there.
You can facehug the sides, but that won't stop the enemies that are closing in on them.
Watching GuP for historically OCD accurate tanks only leads to disappointment.
GuP however has the distinction of "movie accurate" tanks, where it's realistic enough that tankers will still recognize it as real, while taking enough liberties with them to still be endlessly entertaining.
GuP is also the only anime that not only puts WW2 tanks in the spotlight, but also give them love and attention unlike in most shows that show tanks as mere cannon fodder. All the while, the series has better choreographed and uniquely composed tank battles that put the speedlines, stock footage and still pans of many mecha "action" sequences to shame.
The group was 4 T-34's and an IS-2. Two of them got knocked out, one was immobilized, and one T-34 and the IS-2 came out mostly fine.

>Congrats, you're an absolute newfag who has no idea what he's talking about.
They might've eased up on it, but the board really was nothing but "Niggers, rigth?" for like a year. It isn't a coincidence or an act of spite that made some folks start operatorchan.
Mobile Suit and toaster share common technology. All is ok
no because adding moe girls doing cute things follows the currently morally bankrupt industry standard of appealing to the lowest common denominator
and now that anime can just be pumped out, less effort is spent on making a worthwhile story but instead to sexual pandering instincts of the viewers (be it loneliness, protection complex, sexual desire, incestual desire, etc)
No, the idea is that you apply cute girls being cute to whatever, thus cute girls in tanks. You appeal to people who like tanks while getting a much wider audience because cute girls.
It's ridiculous but it sure as hell works. It's applied to lots of things.
>no because adding moe girls doing cute things
Tank battles are hardly what you'd call cute things. Unless you think tank battles are cute.
Myself I am very scared of little girls with young lady illustrated primer. Who know if they wont turn into army of hyper-competent killer.
I fully acknowledge that's a common trend in the industry, but if you watch Girls und Panzer, you'll find it's a good-hearted romp about friends learning to tank. There are episodes dedicated to the character side of things, but it's all pretty standard fare, not pedophile-pandering at all. Download it and give it a few episodes, you'll see its heart is in the right place.
The OVAs where they hang out in swimsuits are pretty questionable though.
>The OVAs where they hang out in swimsuits are pretty questionable though.
But without them we wouldn't have gotten THIS!
>I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about.
Well I give you that one. But it's legitimate because it's fantasy. It's not without reason that the incest public is principally made of people without siblings. Fantasy > Reality.
Regardless, comparing moe to sexuality is pants on the head retarded. It's the complete opposite.
i know it was related to the linked video when i search it through.
however, all i don't get was the German words, seems like no one able to interpret the real meaning & internet keep saying nonsense without the real answer.
.. so, the whole point was that British tried to speak actual German joke but failed so hard that German laughing at their ass till they died?
or it just plain gibberish, nonsensical words that try to be a joke?
btw, what's the real meaning of the joke BEFORE it translated to German anyway???
We're supposed to assume the words actually mean something in the sketch. In real life they're just nonsense words. The joke has no meaning in any language; the premise of the gag is that if you understand the joke you die.
Nah, in the sketch, a guy invents a joke so funny you die immediately of laughter (right before dying himself), the british government takes possession of the joke and weaponize it by translating into german (carefully, word by word, one guy read two words in sucession and got into a months long coma).
What we hear isn't real german, but in-universe is supposed to kill you if you get it.
>tfw Girls Und Panzer is the only show I know that released a CD that has only track, gun and engine sounds on it.
