I think this was from a thread that 404'd recently. Anyways, Gomora was always one of my favorite Ultra kaiju.
Just out of curiousity, is it just me, or are monsters in Tokusatsu forgettable due to their monster of the week status? I mean there are memorable ones, but the majority I don't seem to remember whenever I revisit a show. Does anyone feel this way about monsters of the week?

I haven't watched that many Ultra shows, but Bemstar always stood out to me. He looks a bit goofy but somehow that doesn't bother me.

I remember being confused about Zetton. His official subtitle is space dinosaur, but he looks like a beetle. Also, he doesn;t appear to have an actual face. So, what he is exactly? I mean, beyond being the Ultraman killer of course.

I had the Trendmasters Gamera figures when I was younger, but Guilon/Guiron was the only survior from my childhood. I miss having the extra blade piece that shot out, but oh well.

Fun fact: his Japanese name, Guilon, stems from the English word Guillotine. If you've seen the movie, it makes sense in context.

Knifehead was my favorite kaiju design from the film, even though the NECA figure I bought broke in the package

Personally, I remember some Ultra Kaiju, but the seijins usually evade me memory. I almost never remember the Power Rangers monsters because they're usually ridiculous villains who play cannon fodder of the week roles. I remember this guy somehow, but it's probably because he helped Ransik and fought the Rangers over the course of the episode. (More screentime)

I remember having some weird discussions about Kaiju with roommates in college. None of them knew any kaiju beyond Godzilla and those "giant bastards" from Ultraman. Everyone I knew also hated Cloverfield, and they thought Toho created King Kong.
