>Dr. Michaels of Japan
Isn't this a dub of that one show? It was, like, this weird mix of 70's anime and tokusatsu, with animated people and live-action vehicles and dinosaurs.
Can't remember the name.

Where was their expy in the Ultraman Zero movie?

SuperMonsters is a dub of Aizenborg (and a bit of footage from a random Ultra show iirc)
Return of the Dinos is a dub of Born Free
Both were weird-ass toku/anime hybrids.

Attack of the Super Monsters is the dub for Aizenborg. The other show with puppets and animation is Born Free

I wonder if there's any way to make this iteration of mixed media work.

Yeah, Aizenborg, that's the one.

They also tried it with similar success on Aztekaizer. Wrassler transforms into hero and goes from toku to anime.
Because if there's one thing you could never possibly figure out how to film, it's a pro-wrestler flipping around.
seems like it combo could be applied similarly to animation and stop-motion or whatever practical techniques to make Gundam fan films like Father Of Peace without the Robot Chicken mouths

Be honest Dorkly. Are they corporate backing you?

I really like the idea of people making Gundam fanfilms, and they're on the right track.
It has some shortcomings but it gives pretty good evidence that the theory of a Gundam fan OVA can work.

Thanks for telling me about Father of Peace. It's perfect in its own retarded way.
