Are the Gundams and mobile suits in general as much characters as the humans in Gundam series?
Excluding SD Gundam.
Not really.
Brave robots are though.

Exia.

Is just a machine with no personality quirks because everything about it is either just Setsuna or Ribbons piloting it.
Can this be considered /m/? I mean its a show about pilots (albeit not the giant robot kind)
>>14724311
It is /m/.
Whatever happened to that scanlation project for the manga?

Sub ninjas in F2As.
Such is life at the area.
The things you'll never get to see, like the sand carrier in the sand.
Or the mountainside base they relocate the Area to.
Or that time they move to an aircraft carrier.
Or the AIR JOUST END.
and its official crossbone adaptation

Out of 43,878 votes, Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam got the most votes with 39% as final tally. We'll see more news about the next UC series on the upcoming events if they are really going to release a full animated adaptation for the Crossbone Gundam. Stay tuned for more info!
I wanted to see Bright to sign his own son's death sentence, but that's cool too.

Small update this week, still balancing, creating movesets, stuff like that. Still, we said we'd make weekly threads, and it's important to let you guys know we're not dead.
If you haven’t already, feel free to try the game, and if you can, take the short art survey, too.
Survey:

Playtest: (Same as before, new version will be pushed out after a UI change.)

Roster (New):

As always, feel free to suggest locations, mecha, attacks, and abilities to add to the game.

I was always aware of this game, but never thought to try it until now.
I'm going to play, but I gotta ask. What have you gotten done so far?
>>14722945
Just to clarify things, we are not the same people who were working on the game years ago. Our version of the game has only been out for about a month.
So far, we've made a playtest, which include most of the features that will be in the finished product. Of course, many of the features still need work, but the playtest is essentially a proof of concept. We've implemented the current mech sprites into the engine, as well as some character sprites. Currently, we are balancing the stats of the mechamon as well as editing movesets. You can check out our design document to see what kind of game we plan to create.
Still, the best way to get a feel for what we've done so far is to play the playtest. It will give you an idea of everything we are going for.

noice. I love the concept and wish I could help with development, but I'm only just learning C++ right now.
How different would IBO have turned out if Ali Al Saachez led Tekkadan?
Hell, what if it was Ali who raised Mikazuki instead?
Honestly I would've liked to have seen Ali's charismatic side when he was in charge of the KPSA.
With regards to your question though, Mikazuki would probably be even more of murderous psychopath than he already is.
I want to see Ali negotiate with Teiwaz.
The main characters would actually be Carta, Gaylio, Ein, Crank, and McGillis as they try to stop Ali and his murderous band of religious fanatic child soldiers from tearing everything apart, with McGillis walking a fine line between wanting to use Ali to shake things up and bring his own plans to fruition and being uncertain because Ali is a dangerous fucking maniac.
Also Ali would probably beat McGillis at some point and steal his Grimgerde and we'd get the Grimgerde Ali al-Saachez Custom with foot blades or something while McGillis would get something else, probably a Gundam.
I'd rather see Ali as the head of Turbines, using Tekkadan for his own personal gain.
I watched Kamen Rider Ryuki, and Timeranger, and I want more.
We all know that the best of any franchise series is the one with the darkest, most violent, or most depressing tone.
In your opinions what are the darkest Kamen Rider series?
What are the darkest Sentai series?
Any other suggestions? Dark Ultraman perhaps?
On a side-note, I watched Akibaranger and I absolutely adored it. So I would also like to know what was the most spoofy/trope-y Rider/Sentai

Hello /m/
I have been out of the loop for 3-4 years. Whats new in the gundam world?
Also, Nostalgia thread.
They managed to make shows worse than yours. Rejoice.

-IBO is the worst Gundam entry ever made even including Gundam-san, some minor compilation titles, and SD stuff
-Valvrave is now the absolute worst mecha anime second only to Infinite Ryvius
-/m/ liked the first Gundam Build Fighters but not Try
-People are finally waking up and realizing Turn A has flaws if you look outside of Mecha Talk
-Someone did a walkthrough of SRW Scramble Commander 2nd and it confirmed Destiny was played straight in it which probably buttpained Z purists
-Speaking of which SRW Z3 was a giant mess and failed to live up to succeeding Alpha 3
-Unicorn finally ended, something no one saw coming, and got a compilation TV series
-ANN has a giant hate boner and bias against G-Reco
-/m/ into civil war in 2013 and never recovered since
-Beargguy macros

I'm starting Dougram thanks to all the talk about it on /m/.
I'm liking it so far, but will Crinn ever get "THE TLUCE" the episode previews mention?

Which is the top right? Because that one wins for two big reasons.
ITT: Questions of any kind that aren't really significant enough to merit their own threads or which otherwise have nowhere else to go.
How close was the competition between the GM and Dom? The Dom is technically the more land-mobile MS, however we know that the GM generally triumphed over the Dom on both Earth and in space. This can be attributed to the GM's gundam-like capabilities and overall superiority, right?
Aren't the Gelgoog's skirt and bellbottoms intended to be akin to those of the Dom, in that they provide space for nuclear hover jets and the mobility that comes with them?
What exactly is the music used in the Gundaminfo videos? I can't figure out where it comes from.
Examples:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FFjlKma6Xs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1Qg2k_t5hk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBTkH_Wz2dw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8WRl_reld0
Just how long would Balls be utilized in the UC? We know for instance that some GMs soldiered on from the OYW, being upgraded into GM IIs and GM IIIs alongside new, fresh GMs, but was this the case for Balls as well?
The dom had a sort of hover turbine thing in the feet in addition to the bellbottom thrusters which is what really let them hover. Gelgoogs have a traditional thruster in the foot instead. There is a land variant of the gelgoog that can hover like a dom though.
Why were the hand-held bombs those zeek hover bike guys used so powerful? They look like they're be much smaller than a HE 120 round from a Aaku MG.
>>14713980
>This can be attributed to the GM's gundam-like capabilities and overall superiority, right?
While a lot of sidestories will introduce a lot of never before seen combat, the GM probably didn't get to fight the Dom all that much. The GM was deployed late in the war, late enough that Zeon was already being pushed back into space. In terms of performance, they are both capable suits but with different approaches. The Dom is a bulkier suit that achieves performance through heavy weapons and thrust whereas the GM is a lighter and more agile suit that is more efficient. Both suits' primary weapons are a one hit kill, so often the winner is just whoever lands the first hit.
Yes, the Gelgoog does have thruster systems based on the Dom's in that they are mounted in the skirts and legs. However for space use they are rockets and are not nuclear jets. Consequently not a lot of Gelgoogs are seen hovering, the ones that do hover have additional thrusters like the MS-14G Desert Gelgoog which is specifically made to hover.
I think those Gundaminfo videos have original music, if not sourced from the soundtrack of the show they're referencing.
