No active Legend of the Galactic Heroes thread? For shame.

Chime in with LoGH thoughts, any news about the games or the new series, thoughts on the ongoing novel translations (support them!).

I'll start: having seen the main series twice, the Gaidens have been a chore. Gaiden series 1 was ok to great. Still on the first story of Gaiden 2. So far there's been one episode of Yang having tea with an old guy, one episode of Yang watching documentaries and reading, with a blissful break in the middle for the Bruce Ashbey flashback. Why did Yang get such a poor, forgettable Gaiden when REINHARDO and Sieg get lots of cool storylines? Harumph

I like to think that the first season was only as slow and safe as it was because they were unsure about getting a second season or something. So hopefully they'll take more risks in the second season.
Then again we have 00 S2 as a precedent.
