will the axis shock ever be fucking explained
what kind of newtype magic makes your mobile suit and your physical body disintegrate into a manifestation of energy you gain gain control of post-mortem
or did amuro and char literally became gods
>>14990795
>newtype magic
Pretty much.
There's so much other crazy newtype shit that I guess the axis shock wasn't my biggest question about CCA.
>>14990795
>makes your mobile suit and your physical body disintegrate into a manifestation of energy you gain gain control of post-mortem
When did this happen?
>>14990813
have you even watched char's counterattack
>no beams on IBO they said
no shit, it's a lost technology
What did you expect from a series with medieval knights? That there wouldn't be a dragon to kill?
>>14990850
1. Maybe not something so blatant and obvious
2. The knights are the antagonists, the protagonists are demons/oni/whatever

Haven't been on /m/ for years, came just to post this.
RIP
So why is he called Full Frontal
>>14989814
Ask your mother
>>14989814
Officially I believe it's supposed to represent that he favors a direct attacking style with a focus on raw speed over armor, but the Japanese confused the terms frontal assault and full frontal, without really realising the implications of the second - only thinking it meant ditching armour in favour of speed.
why was she wearing a coat in this scene anyway?
was she naked under it?
(ignore the fanart im too lazy)
It's implied she wanted to fuck but Amuro wasn't having any of that shit.
I think it was a common thing in that time period
In Ace Wo Nerae everybody wears their coats like that too
>>14989581
I figured she was wearing a men's uniform overcoat (it was clearly too big for her) to see if Amuro would get jealous if she were wearing some other guy's jacket.
He doesn't even notice, of course, because he's busy pining over Matilda-san so she gets mad and he has no idea why because he basically doesn't pay enough attention to her to pick up on any of this since he doesn't really care about her.
What would happen if you replaced Lelouch with Lecoque?
>>14989373
same shit happens except Suzaku stabbing him at the end wasn't part of the keikaku
Lelouch loves his sister and his very close friends, has a strong desire for revenge and is willing to make sacrifices and get his hands dirty to fulfill his goals although they pain him. He's win the hearts of men with his natural charm and make women fall in love with him for his strong, kind personality when he doesn't have to put on a show. He's a little cocky which can lead to disaster, but it's kind of cute and he'll let himself lean on others a little bit so it's all okay since he seems like a reasonable person, if a little extreme. Lelouch can think in terms of the bigger picture and is ultimately selfless
Lecoque doesn't care about anyone or anything except for himself and is willing to do anything for his ambition and to get a bit of power. He can trick the peons into liking him but his true colors are evident to any individual who gets to know him as a callous snake without any morals as he manipulates others with his words and uses blackmail to gain political power as he pretends to be a simple secretary. Lecoque is incredibly arrogant and also shortsighted, so shortsighted to the point where anything doesn't go his way he'll start having a panic attack until he thinks of a solution. But he doesn't care, the important thing is fulfilling ambition and if it makes things hard for others in the future it's fine. There was a period where he was content doing his job until it was made clear he was just a pawn to Denon Casshim at which point he started his own scenario to make things better for himself. If he wasn't treated as a pawn, I believe he would have faithfully done his job if he got a kickback basically, because it's power at all means and he doesn't seem to care if he's publicly a dog if it'll improve his status a little, though he'll seethe in private. He doesn't trust anyone and enjoys the company of himself to most so he can plot his next move
Lecoque's kind of a moron so he would literally try to geass his way to the top of the political ladder
reply to this thread and my kino post
the fact that it's been 50 fucking years since tomino made 0079 and we still know jackshit about the economy in UC really show makes me think about it's fanbase and franchise
>>14989363
something something war economy, something something ID-tagged pilots in ID-tagged mobile suits
It doesn't actually, for the simple reason there are very few pieces of fiction of any genre in any medium ever that we know anything about the economy of. Gundam just being one more doesn't make it exceptional at all. Not even as a long running series with multiple entries, since there are quite a few of those that's true of too.
>>14989363
>the fact that it's been 50 fucking years
you're off by 13
There seems to be a series that people view as better than the rest. Which series is that.

Hey fellow ga/m/ers, I'm planning on running a modified d20 modern game set in the IBO universe, if there seems to be interest here I'll make a game on roll20.
Basically you will work for a mercenary company, and from there do whatever you want because the universe is so loose.
Let me in on this, I miss playing tabletop games, and I've always wanted to play one set in a Gundam universe.
>>14990964
Awesome I'm glad somebody replied, I'll post the roll20 link as soon as we get atleast one other person interested
>>14991585
I'd suggest posting on /tg/ too. I feel like those guys would be more likely to be on board since games like this are their whole thing, and I'm sure there are a good number of Gundam/mecha fans there since the Gundam quests that used to be done there had a good number of participants.
Anyhow, here's my email if anything, since sometimes they close threads pretty early.

No, it is trash not even worth recycling, everything about it is just plain wrong.
It's better than Origin and Thunderbolt so sure.
>>14988995
Too soon to judge.
Was he a Newtype? Or was the Turn A itself just that OP?
>>14988802
Pretty sure he communicated telepathically at some point.
I think him, Gym and the loli were definitely newtypes. Not sure about Harry.
>>14988802
He was literate.
>>14988802
Turn A was hilariously OP. Among the things it supposedly can be able to do include warp its beam rifle's shots straight into the cockpits of enemy mobile suits, warp weapons from elsewhere straight into its empty chest storage bays, and extend the reach of its Moonlight Butterfly all the way to Jupiter.
