So why exactly are Zoids animal-like?

Why not just build a humanoid mecha body around the Zoid Core? For that matter, can a Zoid Core be built into whatever Zoid someone wants it to be?

Does a Zoid Core somehow indicate which chassis it wants to be? Do humans build a body/armaments around the Zoid Core or is a Zoid "born" with a mecha body around the Core?

Often I hear people say that Evangelion had a massive influence on anime. But they never mention how it changed anime or any explicit examples of shows inspired by it.
So specifically, what did Eva change about anime?

I mean, the production values for this show already look way better than 0079's (not that that's hard to accomplish), but Jesus, I think Tomino's penchant for recycling plot points is almost as great as Urobuchi's.

This is gonna be a fun series to watch.

For those unfamiliar, "plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model". If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here!

Been released, but no one seems to have noticed. Kinda shitty they don't automatically include the expansion, but sell it separately. I haven't played it since 1999 myself. I wonder if it holds up.

I hope Piranha can do a better job this time since they aren't F2P anymore and are using UE4 instead of Cryengine

A group of land speculators aggressively drive cyclists out of a local private park, claiming that they are about to build a factory there. When their deed on the land checks out, the local community rallies around Mr. Tsuruoka, the local bike shop owner, and his son Hiroshi, a longtime friend of Solbrain. The campaign against the land speculators seems to be going well, until Mr. Tsuruoka suddenly drops his support. Tsuruoka has a shocking secret in his past, and it may be something that ruins both him and the community.

Notes:

A Sagiyama episode. But surprisingly, this episode doesn't have any magical psychic girls, talking stuffed animals, or other unthematic elements. This is a rather dramatic episode about the cycle shop owner, Mr. Tsuruoka, who appears in the ending credits and a handful of episodes throughout the series (I believe this is actually his last). He's grown a beard in this episode. Turns out that he has a secret past that led him to open his cycling shop.

I actually really like this episode all things considered. I think that even though it's a low-threat episode, it's a good piece about human beings. The writing was sharp and fun to translate. For a Sagiyama episode it's by far one of her most interesting. Hope you enjoy.
