Char would die and Amuro would get a flawless victory. The Alex in 0080 was not even full equipped for the battlefield. The version delivered in Muro, probably, would have had a form similar to the G-4 with various weapon upgrades.

Char gets his shit pushed in and probably dies which means AEUG gets no help from Charmuro and Titans just spend Zeta trampling them. Bright and Kamille probably die. With AEUG no longer a threat, Titans move in Axis/Neo-Zeon with Paptimus in charge which means no ZZ or CCA uprising bullshit. Titans practically unchallenged in outer-space and EF surrenders when Titans invade and all of humanity is ruled by some Jovian fuck.

Obviously, all this happens barring some unforeseen ex machina memery.

This one, I still don't entirely get. It's basically hyper-evolved Transformers trying to police the Multiverse, however, including the Go-Bots and featuring some crossover with everyone else.

Wings is... well, it's more G1. The difference here is that it's more in-depth, has more character development for later guys like Kup, and eventually makes good use of Generation 2 characters.

Cliffjumper from the Classics stories basically gets tossed into a universe that's swapped like a Mirror episode of Star Trek. Autobots are evil, Decepticons are good, and the prose stories are all tongue-in-cheek.

Classics plays a larger role later on, getting blended into the same continuity as Shattered Glass once the "Invasion" comic happens. I included it in both packs, just in case someone grabbed one over the other.

This awkwardly-named one picks up from after TransTech's Go-Bots story, and after Shattered Glass and Classics as well. It works as an epilogue to most of the stories before it. In fact, the final chapter was pushed out at the last minute before the license expired!

Amuro rips them off one of char's mooks in like the first or second episode if I remember, and it disables his camera. Might be a power supply.

By the same token I'm pretty sure the cables get cut in a few scenes in Zeta and gas just shoots out like they're full of steam. Who knows.

Not at launch it wasn't. More people had Xboxes then PS3s where I lived cause of the whole "Five hundred ninety-nine US Dollars" pricepoint. That was practically the down payment on a Toyota.

Even so, it did quite well on the original Xbox. I have lotsa fond memories. There's one level that still sticks out in my mind. It's been, literally... 17 years since I last played it, but this still remains fresh.

There's like a bug monster at the top of this topsy turvy tower thing, and it's broadcasting the BBEG's speech on an infinite loop. Actually, I don't remember MUCH of it besides that, but just that level with it's canned broadcast repeating throughout as you ascended this tower to put an end to it was something's that stuck with me.

Same basic gameplay's the same in later games. OG2 has much better animations than OG1, the PS2 games add isometric maps with 3-D models, the twin unit system and voice acting. PS3/4 games are basically the same with shinier graphics.

Every game has some new mechanic or other and changes the skills available and such. Sometimes the changes are good, sometimes they're bad. It can get pretty different when you get far into the series.
