So I was reading the latest Anaheim Log from Zeonic and I see they're pushing hard with yet more variants... this time with the Pale Rider and the GM Sniper II...
>>15135791
Neat. Lineart when?
>>15135940
Looks like the mecha profiles are up on Zeonic.
I really don't understand these stories. They flesh out nothing.
>>15137429
It's not really meant to flesh out anything unless you're the kind of person who thinks every period of time between any two stories needs something to fill the gap.
It just seems like they're coming up with minor variants and then trying to attach some kind of loose stories to it to make them fit together and be more relevant to UC than just being another line of MSVs that will only see appearances in manga and video games.
Also.. Char's Rick Dom? Really? I guess it's now a part of the murky grey canon of "prime UC sidestory" rather than non-canon "alternate UC".
Virtual-On is /m/ too right?
Always struck me as pretty /m/. Only ever got the chance to play it twice as a kid though. But I was always drawn in by how cool the machines were.
On a related note: I was talking to someone about the Switch the other day and they brought up the idea of Virtual-On as a Switch title using the Joy-Cons to mimic the sticks found in the arcade machines. I'm bummed this is never going to become an actual thing. Guess ARMS is kinda close at least.
>Literally giant robots fighting each other
>"is it /m/?"
Anyways, SEGA could get my money if they re-released Operation Moongate's PC port but fixed the compatibility issues with modern OS.
Or just made a new one but that's more effort then I'd be willing to give them.
>>15134486
Yep.
It was even in SRW.

What's the next stage?
So goddamn...
Well shit, Dan wasn't bluffing about it being all over the city.
Does this imply EVERYONE has been exposed?
KIMMEY
WAZA
Let's talk about Avatar's Amplified Mobility Platforms.
Reminds me a lot of the recent Korean IRL mech tbqh.
>>15134006
>Glass cockpit
>Comically wide proportions
>Everything besides to cockpit and proportions is utterly forgettable and generic
0/10
Gun is kinda cool though.
I wouldn't be surprised if all of those were lifters they armed to fight the natives.
>>15134006
Reminder that SecOps members were hired veterans of the Colonial Marines.
Avatar takes place 53 years after the formation of the Colonial Marines and 25 years before Aliens
>I just want blue chestbusters ripping out of Na'vi already!
>Sigourney Weaver Dr. Na'vi using one of those Colonial mech rifles with a flamethrower under attachment
Come on James Cameron, this will print money. Just make it bleak with a not so happy ending, not so bad ending.
So what does /m think of my mecha?
>>15133453
the ability to cling to walls is a handy feature
also that's totally just Rom Space Knight.
>>15133453
RESIZE YOUR FUCKING DRAWINGS
t. i/c
>>15133453
First of all, you should have rotated and resized the pic. Second, think you can assist me with mechanical designs for a story I'm writing?
What's up /m/ what did you think of this show?
It was neato.
70 years
The quintessential "also aired" show.
bless Inazuma

That doujin was pure gold
Oh Mirage, the bullying never ends.
Good stuff, nice to see it translated this fast.
>>15133025
Couldnt even fap to it due to laughing too much.
>that akward but nice feel
I'll start
>>15132744
I see what you're shooting for but you need some help

MOTHERFUCKER!
First thread I've ever made.
Post /m/ Original characters/creations.
Don't be shocked if people tear your ideas/concepts apart.
Try to be civil maybe?
Here's another of mine.
Man. I haven't made any OC mecha in years.
One of my oldest designs. I normally get positive responses to her, but I've received at least one pretty harsh criticism.
Anyone else think the "I'm not a robot" CAPTCHA is funny here?
Also >>15132153 fuckin sweet.

Personally, I am looking forward to garter belt softshell powered armour.
Don't be afraid of the metal.
Guy on the left looks badass, guy on the right looks like a fuckboy.
looks like shit desu senpai
Why was there such a big quality drop in the second half?
There was? I didn't see it.
>>15130762
All I remember from the second half is the narrator shouting "Koji wa Otoko da" and I reached Nirvana.
SONO NA WA
SONO NA WA
SONO NA WA
Guys, I'm hype as fuck for the new Pacific Rim movie. That Kaiju is so fierce and the Jaeger looks so colorful and slim.
>>15130740
Isn't that the new Power Rangers?

>>15131097
You didn't have to bump a useless thread, you know.
What if, in the data and circuit boards of your favorite mechs, existed little nano mechs that functioned the same way, while being piloted by even smaller electrical beings, who are have mech wars too? Like the story of Gundam within a Gundam?
Hell bacteria in the human body has wars too with foreign bacteria, like Starship troopers. Hey that is metal as fuck.
>>15130713
>dumb stoner idea about cartoon robots
>half-assed comparison with biology
>that is metal as fuck
t. clueless bong-hitting redditor who listens to video game OSTs with heavy guitars in them and thinks that makes him a trve metalhead.
Can I fuck her in the ant form after the battle?
>your body is a huge battlefield with white cells hunting foreign bacteria to keep it safe
Really makes me think.
https://kryptonradio.com/2017/01/20/team-axanar-and-cbsparamount-settle-their-differences/
Looks like we get Axanar after all! In less than half it's length, but hey. At least they get to keep the actors.
>>15129298
>The fan production must be less than 15 minutes for a single self-contained story, or no more than 2 segments, episodes or parts, not to exceed 30 minutes total, with no additional seasons, episodes, parts, sequels or remakes.
This is the dumbest shit. Isn't it a not for profit fan film? They can't fucking do that. It'as not a commercial threat!
>>15129768
>they can't do that
Except they can. They have the rights to Star Trek and are able to use them and dictate their use to others how they see fit.
A new series is on the way this year and CBS/Paramount don't want it getting overshadowed/confused with by fan works like Axanar and Pacific 201, both also slated for release sometime this year. As we learned last year with the AM2R debacle, anything that isn't official and gains enough popularity/buzz is often treated as a commercial threat, especially when people consider the fanwork as better than the officially licensed material.
>>15129298
>>15129883
>Fan ships and effects looking better than their teasers
>All the issues that keep cropping up about discovery
>All these shit over Fan films and being super stringent about them
It's obvious they're on suicide watch. And I know that was an early early teaser, but shit you think to attract attention they'd of done something nicer at least, they're just relying on the Trek Name to sell it and their streaming shit.
I mean hopefully it could pull though but I really have doubts about Discovery.
What the fuck. The aliens are giants?
Yeah, is that a problem or something?
>>15128591
that's the weird part?
Don't worry, I was thrown off by that too. It still seems dumb.
