>Orange? Experimental?
In the USAF orange means "Drone"
So maybe the pilot we see in that bird isn't actually the pilot, but more like a supervisor tp the plane's AI?

Declaring war over construction of a space elevator seems pretty extreme

Why didn't Osea just build it on their land then?
Don't know if this thread's even gonna survive since I'm making it late as fuck, but I thought it'd be nice to talk about all the fake made-up /m/ related stuff you see in media-within-media.
One of my favorites is Drake Redcrest/Gicchoman from Chibi-Robo. In the game he's a parody of tokusatsu in general, though the series can be seen through merchandise found throughout the house your only real exposure to the character is through an action figure that thinks he's actually the same one seen on TV. Nintendo went pretty far with the parody, going so far as to give him a theme song with both English and Japanese vocals.

I spent most of R;N desperately wanting to watch Gunvarrel. It remains high on my list of "I wish this was a /m/ real franchise"
A little more on Drake Redcrest/Giccoman
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7bvwuvwha0
In the first game, Drake isn't just a one-time gag, he's a persistent element both to the game as well as its story. Even though the majority of his interactions are relegated to side quests, they're pretty funny and play into the Japanese superhero stereotypes he portrays.
A few of the things you do for him is make tokusatsu poses with him, find him some gunpowder to let him punctuate said justice poses with explosive finishes, and at the end of things you even perform a combination finishing move with him to "defeat" alien invaders.
In later games he isn't as important, and pretty much is only a reoccurring character due to fan appeal. He also gets a redesign that makes him more realistic and I guess cooler looking, but I don't like it as much because the fact that he's so blocky and with numerous visible joints reminds me of some of the shit revolvtech fucks up from time to time. Despite this however, he still carries the same personality and goofiness as in the original, and even if you don't find the appeal of the Chibi-Robo games at least watch some of the shit he does.

As an added fun fact, his Japanese name Giccoman sounds like "Geek Man", a joke pointed at how the owner in the first game has all sorts of memorabilia for the series and gets all worked up whenever he sees it on TV despite being a fat middle aged goofball father with an obsession for toys.
