That was a pretty casual introduction of the other Drive Head pilots. I like that White Hope has two different abilities depending on which machine is in control of it.

i hope this gets subbed like the other eps.
Why do so many artists fuck up the GX's Satellite Cannon pose? Model kits and concept art have existed for ages, there's no excuse for messing this up on a god damn promotional poster.
And since I'm sure someone's going to ask, the Satellite Cannon is mounted in the middle of the X on the back. It isn't physically possible for it go over the shoulder without moving the entire array up to the shoulder as well.
>>15824254
All the proof that you need confirming that X is shit.
>>15824263
That's what the DX did and that's all people care about
Deal with it
Will this shot lancer shoot beams or shells? Are there any perks to using one or the other?
>>15824210
Beams have more penetration than solid projectiles, which is both an asset and a detriment. It's good, because it's much harder to armor against them. It's bad, because it's much easier to cause collateral damage with them. That's why shot lancers were invented in the first place, to have a weapon that can punch through armor but not too far.
>>15824210
it shoots lancers

TY, senpai.
Why does he like robots so much?
>>15823943
Because they pay the bills
>>15823943
He doesn't, the sponsors who pay him and foot the bill for his works do. Takahashi is the same.
Has he ever done a non-mecha series?
Some studio should put him in charge of a slice-of-life full of cute girls just to see what happens.

I just finished watching Turn A Gundam for the first time...it is on par with Unicorn Gundam and basically sucks. Every Character was annoying (especially Sochie), they preached too hard on the anti war/combat to the point I want to be in a war just to spite the creators, too many char clones, and most of the suits were just terrible. The only good things were the Sumos, Turn X, and the story of civilization restarting and discovering their past. It tried way too hard to be Dances with Wolves: Space hippie edition than just being good.
>>15823604
>especially Sochie
>>15823604
You suck a million cocks
>>15823604
nice bait family, you should know this board loves turn a
ISIS levels of monstrosities
This is bait.
>>15804940
fuck, the thing i hate most about ibo is that autist's jacket
it looks so fucking dumb
why would the put this on promotional material
Both wear capes masks and German inspired helmets
Both are ace pilots with latent psychic abilities
Both are soldiers of an outer-space empire with a degree of independence from the military chain of command
So who would win?
Scenario 1: Vader & his TIE Advanced vs. Char & his Zaku II Custom alone in the cold vacuum of space.
Scenario 2: Vader & Char backed up by their respective flagships.
For the sake of the argument lets assume that 1 mobile suit laser blast = 1 fighter laser blast
>>15823326
What about scenario 3: Vader and Char in a fencing match?
>>15823326
I have to assume that the Galactic Empire has a far more intimate understanding of space warfare than sub-lightspeed colonists, especially when it comes to space battleships.
I never much cared for these kind of hypotheticals because more often than not it's either one-sided or comparing apples to oranges.
>>15823332
Char fences as an aristocratic hobby where as dueling is a core component of Darth Vader's Jedi/Sith training. It'd be no contest
Not to mention the Force.
Does Demonbane hold up or is it in hindsight, just edgy, pretentious otaku shit like Fate/Stay Night?
>>15823271
>Does Demonbane hold up
Yes.
The first game's art doesn't, though.
>>15823271
I think everything is pretentious otaku shit for you though and I don't think you should be playing VNs at all
Well I tought the VN was pretty light hearted, Kurou is a goofball most of the time and I actually kinda like his interactions with Al.
Granted, I tend to like straight man comedy.I only read Al's route and I don't know enough moon to play the second VN so there you go.
Eyewitness account of high cut robot
>>15823047
Poor ARIEL
she spent her time jobbing, and her pilots didn't even like her.
>>15823047
Tell me about ARIEL, why does she wear the leotard?
Let's have a thread for old / obscure or generally underappreciated tokusatsu.
Robot Detective K, the only toku hero I know of that needed to yell for his mom to help him out of bad situations. Also a really great OP.

>>15822938
I read the manga of of this a while ago, I had no Idea it had a tv series made of it.
Why was Zubat such a disappointment?
Really neat premise, the, "second best in Japan," gimmick was fun, but the whole thing just sort of fizzled out.
>>15822960
The actual superhero component was completely superfluous, there was little to no need for him to be a henshin hero at all. Well the whip was cool I guess but they could've just given him a whip anyway.
Reminder that Balarant has done nothing wrong.
They didn't do anything at all during the anime.
>>15822877
>>15822910
Balarant OVA when?
>>15822877
Not piloting a byarlant.
Does anyone care about this anymore
>>15822812
sure but probably not enough to warrant the standard stuff that comes with big mecha properties (tv show/general release toys/comics/games).
>>15822904
That sucks for me I guess. I wish they would do something with it. Zoids was one of my favorite things in my childhood.
Show? Not really. The kits? Oh baby. Give me more, aside from how expensive some can get.
Do you guys think she joined the Titans following the events of 0080?
>>15822765
Doubtful, she was a test pilot; not a front line pilot so she probably wasn't in their wheel house. Even if she did initially join, she probably left once things like 30 Bunch happened.
>>15822932
She probably joined their test team, and later joined AEUG or Karaba after colony 30
Probably would have been a fine candidate for the Titans Test Team or even the Gundam MKII testing team.
Ginguiser Thread! Gonna watch the episodes Luurah will never sub soon, what should I expect?
>>15822608
A lot of random mystic powers people all over Japan have, a lot of kids with parents problems, premature cancellation without resolving literally anything. But it was actually pretty funto translate to the end.
Besides that one episode where Goro went crazy over saving a monkey, it was a decent enough very silly 70s super robot show.
