Gaiking Legend of Daiku Maryu (debateably fantasy, bad subs)
Madou King Granzort (no subs)
NG Knight Ramune series (minimal subs)
Gankutsuou (sci-fi Count of Monte Cristo with space vampires and the occasional mecha duel)
Hiwou Senki (more of a Japanese historical show than a fantasy, features not so much mecha as wooden clockwork automatons)

There are some others I could list that stray even farther from traditional European fantasy if you want a more cosmopolitan fantasy setting, but these should cover the basics

4 predacons are literal comedy duo, Dirge and Thrust have manzai dialect and Starscream and BB have this "flamboyant and brute" sketch routine.
definitely stuff grade schooler loves to watch on sunday morning while eating corn flakes.

it only got more serious and more action packed on the last 10 episode
