Avengers is a nice entry point.

Sentai is probably the place where you want to start because all the series are self contained very similar in formula, so you can start from literally anywhere (except Gokaiger, don't watch this as your first). Zyuranger, Dairanger, Kakuranger, Megaranger, Dekaranger, Gekiranger, Shinkenger, all good places to start. If you want something of old, Sun Vulcan, Bioman, Maskman or Liveman are good entrances.

Kamen Rider is a bit tougher, though. Unlike Sentai, Rider can vary on the style and formula and also has a much larger quality gap (the worst of Sentai aren't nearly as bad as the worst of Rider). You should check series according to their "era" and, in my opinion, these are the ones you should watch for each:
Showa Era: Amazon or Black
1 phase Heisei: Kuuga or Kabuto
2 phase Heisei: Double or Drive

Non Kamen Rider or Sentai series would be:
-Metal Heroes: the forgotten sibling of the former, where you can start by Gavan, Juspion or Winspector.
-Garo: a dark and violent adult toku, this one you have to watch chronologically.
-Ultraman: the granddaddy of long running TV tokusatsu. There's heavy continuity on Ultraman, so you'll have to check that (I don't watch Ultraman, so I can't help you there).
-Tomica Heroes: a short lived toku with Sentai inspiration and rescue theme. There are only two series

There are shit loads more, I can't name them all. That's all the basics, I think.

Kamen Rider ZO is a self-contained movie and follows a very standard KR formula, and executes it well, with good effects. Start there.

Most people will say Shinkenger and Kamen Rider W are good shows to watch first. All of W's movies are good as well, damn near required.

There was a character designer, technical designer and cg designer that create this. Then a handful of keyframers draw the same thing over and over for a month, and 3 or 4 inbetweeners had an afternoon to try their best. All through out the director and producer kept insisting this would sell.

Although it came from a game, so it was probably a money laundering kind of deal.

It will, Asemu's is the best even if you count the AGE-3 quarter and AGE-FX quarter as different arcs which I kinda do

There are good suits, but they're pretty underutilized because Hollywood stars need to mug for the camera and you can't do that with your rad as hell mask on.

MSG Movies, Zeta series or the movies if you don't mind the animation clash or have the patience for 50 episodes.

MSG movies are 'canon', but there's literally nothing in the series which will contradict later series. I suggest watching the full series, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter too much. Zeta is a different beast since the movies are pretty bad imo, animation clash is the least of its problems since you kinda need to know what happens or is supposed to happen in the series to follow it at times, and if you plan on continuing into ZZ then it's doubly bad since the movies change the ending.

Tl;dr: MSG is dealer's choice stick to the series with Zeta

I find the MSG series to be a more entertaining product overall, and you can even watch the dub and it's completely fine. The movies cut out a lot of content, some of which is actually good, and the animation improvements really don't make up for that. I know some people like to swear by the movies, but if you have the time you should just watch the series.
