I'm sure even a small project like this would still cost at least a million bucks. They'll make it back before long, anyway.

I would guess that since it's 20 minutes or so in total it'd cost as much as a regular anime episode would.
/m/ likes to call regular Gundam just "toy commercials", but apart from the meta series like the Gunpla Builders and Build Fighters ones, Twilight Axis is one of the few Gundam animations that is genuinely just a toy commercial. From the top of my head, the only other plain toy commercial Gundam animations were the Astray shorts for SEED.

I found this at a con today for $30. It looked rare so I got it. It's dubbed in English and it came from the Philippines. Is the dub rare? If so I'll rip the episodes for you all.

Dynamic Planning (Go Nagai's licensing company) and the manga artist, Mikiya Mochizuki (Wild 7) created a super car anime called Machine Hayabusa, animated by Toei back in 1976.

The manga run of UC finished a while ago, so what are your thoughts?
It initially had the perks of introducing new Mobile suits from the Silver Bullet and up to the Byarlant Unit 02 for Ridhee,
It was praised for following the novel plot but this was only up to a certain point, around the final space arc. It was also the point where no new MS were being introduced.
The last novel faithful portion was the part where the Tri-Stars and two Clop Classes had a skirmish with Frontal and Angelo while chasing the empty Garenceries.
After that, there was absolutely nothing new and following the anime very closely.
There was a bonus scene of the Rebawoo appearing only to be gunned down by Bangaher's gatling. The Jagd Doga also had a death scene added.

Because they tried to make a SEED-type story in order to appeal to it's fanbase, just one set within the Universal Century in order to appeal to older Gunota. It's the two styles clashing, with the CE influence making it feel more super robot-y than typical UC (and yes, I'm including Newtype Bullshit in this). Not to mention they have to make Unicorn seem like the events are this big deal when they can't interfere or alter the course of UC in any way so it amounts to a big pile of nothing. A very nicely animated pile of nothing, but a pile of nothing all the same.
