I can guarantee you the military has investigated the viability of mechs.
I mean just looking at the benefits is simple enough. Basically walking tanks or battle stations that can traverse any terrain if equipped properly.
I would assume more likely though mechs would be more viable if remote controlled or autonomous rather than with a pilot inside. Safety issues and whatnot.
The large problem with mechs is the power source and weight. You need a stupid amount of energy to move something huge which is why most mech manga/anime describe a "miracle power source" to explain the way it works.

Any of them. Mecha anime is all about men burning with deep emotions and pounding other men intensely with their big, mechanical avatars. The genre is homosexual by nature.

I don't think the entire thing was a waste. Some good music and grunt fights. But yeah the main story/characters never delivered anything substantial and it ultimately didn't matter to the timeline.

Well that was a fairly lackluster debut for Taddle Legacy.
I guess budget really is the rrason Taddle Fantasy wasn't used after it's debut.

I asked this last thread, but since no one got back to me, does anyone have a download of the dub of the Eureka Seven AO OVA? All I know is that it exists, and I'm watching AO since I'm curious to see just how bad it gets (also to prepare for the movies), but VRV (the platform I'm watching it on) doesn't have the OVA, which I was planning on watching between episode 8 and 9. If not, I guess I'll just buy the Blu-Ray.

The first 30 episodes or so are good. Then 1 of main characters went full retard about going to "understanding" route and the series became mediocre. But I recommend it, it has some really superb moments.
