Mercenary Pilot (Tomboy)- Gruff Nee-san who's a spec-ops foot-soldier and hates mechs because their pilots think they're so high and mighty.
completely forgot about our tomboy, would like to see more come out of this

Nee-san~
I'd like to help but I'm a lazy fuck and can't draw. Even so, I'd like to be part of this somehow.

Writing is still happening for the drunk alien truth or dare fiction

What did you think of it, or at least the mecha-related parts of this? Personally:Hulkbuster fight was greatVision was great
Ultron drones were decent, although never menacing
Ultron Prime's design was meh, but THOSE FUCKING LIPS, they really made him considerably worse. Also his lines and character really worked, but he ended up feeling unthreatening, especially in the second half.
Opinions? Please use spoiler tags out of kindness for our Burger friends.

How would you rate it in comparison with the other MCU moviesand Daredevilreleased so far?
I just have one question, since I don't want to look at any other spoilerBlack Widow doesn't wield Mjolnir like some speculated right?
>>12488620
Trick question.
AoU is grander in scope than everything they've done so far, the sheer number of characters getting actual focus grants it.
I'd say it ends up being generally an improvement over the first Avengers movie, but (I realize it sounds like a paradox) considerably less hype. Overall, in my opinion:
The good
>more balanced, everyone gets focus and depth
>better fights, especially theHulkbusterone as I said
>less forced humour everywhere
>MCU continuity
>the issues about AIs and humanity are clichés, but not too watered down
>seeds lots of plots for the future
>actual worldly feeling, we go to Europe, South Korea, somewhere in Africa
>character in the OP is great
>twins are not bad and Wanda is hot
The bad
>Ultron feels a bit off and ultimately ends up never feeling like the HUGE menace that could fuck everything up whenever he wanted
>action scenes are not all that great anyway, the final battle really drags
>plot feels railroaded here and there so that the audience does not feel lost
>still too many one-liners for my taste
>feels crammed with characters, so for everyone to shine the movie is longer and you feel that
>>12488646
Nah, that was bullshit. Someone else does. NamelyVision, they end up explaining it in the movie as "it's a robot so he doesn't need to be worthy"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vrl2bCBzqRc
Looking great, the devs had to deal with some bullshit from Saban, but according to them nothing in the game was changed (besides the "Inspired by Saban's Power Rangers" subtitle)
>>12496726
>"Inspired by Saban's Power Rangers"
So they have to give credit to that, but not the original shows/companies that Power Rangers adapts?
No blaming the devs or even Saban, really. Copyright law, especially in the States, is weird.
>>12496726
>Sentai
>Inspired by Saban
How can we shut down Saban?
>>12496735
>So they have to give credit to that, but not the original shows/companies that Power Rangers adapts?
The international title for Super Sentai is Power Rangers, which is licensed property of Saban. That is the only way for to credit SS>

Who Mastema here?
>>12451492
Its either Formula or Lailah for me. But honestly all of them really hits all the right buttons for me.
Full Mode
Releases all plavsky particle to increase all stats.
Unit will have extraordinary performance but will run out of particle in a short period of time, and will add extra stress on the gunpla.
>>12489614
so, TRANS-AM?
>>12489614
>What does the Kampfer text say? How the whole thing is a giant glass cannon?
Why are they even trying to justify this
Why don't they just say Lucas made a mistake in building it and it started leaking particles like crazy
Hey /m/ just wanted you scream about what you think of as the worst mecha designs in anything were.
prolly all time worst, easily.
The metal build is cool (because add details and angular shape makes it particul and threatening), but the original is one of the saddest and most trivial gundam of recent time.
When will this get the Origin treatment?
>>12492378
Hopefully never. Gundam needs to die. G-rekto showed us that Gundam as a whole has no where left to go but the garbage pile. The sooner everyone lets it go and die peacefully the less awkward it'll be when it does finally die.
>>12492378
A man can dream OP.
At this point I'd be happy if Fukui's Unicorn sequel turned out to be something like Gundam Formula Unicorn, and that in turn lead towards a remake / continuation (preferably one less goofy than Hasegawa interpreted).
>>12492425
This. The other case scenario would be going with an F90 adaptation first (which is okay, because the Zeon remnant in there was cut off from everything).
>show that everyone says is good
>it turns out to be rotten shit
What's her name, /m/?
Pic very much related, the only thing majestic about it is how awful it is.
>>12488548
I want to watch both this and Heroic Age for the character designs, if nothing else
>Rotten shit
VVV is rotten shit.
AZ is rotten shit.
Seed Destiny is Rotten shit.
MJP is just average and, at least, do not want to be taken seriously as opposed to the shows mentioned above (super serious in their stupidity).
>>12488548
Okay, what was wrong with it?
So, how does heat weaponry hold up? It seems effective enough to cut through a Gundam's armor. So what makes beam sabers so much better?
Would it be a bad idea to have a launcher that shoots Heat spikes at the enemy?
>>12478736
>>12478736
isn't that pretty much shot lancers?
Beam weaponry has higher output, can cut trough armor faster and its easier to store.
>>12478736
I'd love a gundam show with more heat weapons.
They just felt so much more visceral than beamsabers.
Would you a loli Sayla?

Battletech thread? Battletech thread.
Everyone's favorite mechs in one universe! Post your favorite batletech mechs
Raven for scouting and spotting, catapult for long range missiles.
grand titan, black knight, and Kingfisher are cool to
Oh yeah! Battletech thread!
Post your favourite original design :^)
I'm currently trying to come up with a good pilot/plug suit design for something.
Post your favorite suit designs.
the best
I watched the first three episodes on Sunrise's YT, and it's really not grabbing me. Things seem to abruptly shift between SERIOUS and ~comedy~, the main characters seem to do things for random and impulsive reasons, and there's inexplicably toilets in Gundams now.
Does it get better? I'm remembering everyone else saying it was really good and I'm just not feeling it.
If those are your complaints, you're probably not going to like it.
It's got some cool robots though.
Don't take it too seriously, it is good fun with gorgeous animation but the ending and the plot overrall is extremely rushed, it's not just the first episodes.
Still better than most shit that came out in the last 20 years
>>12480963
Yeah the mecha designs were one of the things I did actually like.
As a follow up to my post the other day on G-Reco's interesting animation techniques comes some other possible revelations on the animation team's efforts to make it look more organic. I grabbed the first BDMV to take a really good look, and there are some interesting findings.
For one, the typical 720p resolution applies, but it's a little more complicated than that because there are intentional artifacts such as chromatic aberration, and possibly even lens blurring effects on the sides of the of frame. Many of the sharper lines here in the hair demonstrate a slight aberration, for example.
>>12487366
On top of that, the image on the BD, like many Sunrise BDs, is subtly aliased. This actually somewhat meshes against the intentionally rough line work, but it makes it challenging to reduce while respecting the art style. This shot in particular has a lot "disconnected" outlines that an antialiasing filter may attempt to blend together.
>>12487373
This image reveals a clearer example of the sketchy shadows they used throughout the show. In particular, the outlines themselves join with the shadow detail, leading me to wonder how the decisions are made to "ink in" the shadows or leave them sketchy. I admire the effort, but sometimes it doesn't really fit too well. For example, the background is actually darker than the Arcane's knee here, and makes it look pasted into the scene.
>>12487366
>>12487373
So..........are you gonna give it a work?
