I have a question about the end of Turn-A. At the end battle, both Turn-A and Turn-X are cocooned along with Gym. Background material says the nanomachines repair the Turns and keep the pilot alive, meaning Gym's still alive in there. What's stopping Merrybell or any Joe Madman from messing with the cocoon to get them all out of it so that Immortal Gym can wreck shit with 2 Turn units?

Well for a start there's no reason for them to know or even suspect that. Secondly the system can restore the pilot while they're in the cockpit as far as I recall, and Gym ain't in the cockpit.
For another thing the two units are constantly self-repairing, but they're also constantly consuming the other - so given the slow speed of repairs but relatively quick speed of consumption I imagine that the units would quickly become a massive pile of base nanites and probably just become inert.

There's a Muv Luv mod for Darkest Hour 1.03. Has anyone here tried it? Unfortunately, it's only in moonrunes, but someone plans on translating it when the VN gets released in English.
Darkest Hour is a game based off Hearts of Iron 2, a WW2 grand strategy game. The mod lets you control various countries in the Muv Luv setting. It has multiple scenarios, from the 1970s when the first Hive lands to the 90s.
To install: Download the DH files in order from top to bottom. But download the "Map" file before the final patch.

I like the idea of desperately trying to hold the line while trying to develop the techs that will shore things up.
It'd be good if this has some interesting events as well, like evacuating to Alaska as the Soviets and alternate events like the US evacuating to some new locale.
I've no idea whether this mod manages any of that. But the idea has a lot of potential.

The only one i remember having watched in my childhood was one in which they fought in a desert or on a beach, had painful plastic gimp suits and there was a shining finger involved, which after sifting through mountains of porn i later discovered was actually Mobile Fighter G Gundam.
My question to you is this: Should i watch G Gundam, and if so, what next?
What's the best way to get into gundam without sullying my experience with garbage?

Are most Gundam shows this boring? I've only ever seen this a little Zeta. I don't really care for any of these characters, besides Duo and Zechs. The story feels like it's been done a thousand times, and the mechs are mediocre at best with a few exceptions. Is this a good representative of the Gundam franchise
