I wouldn't reccommend watching it with friends, Eva doesn't feel like the kinda show you want a shared experience with. It's at least worth analyzing solo.

It's one of those things where it's been hyped up for years as being ONE OF THE GREATEST ANIME OF ALL TIME and will probably never live up to the version of it people talk about, but even so, is worth watching and experiencing at least once.

I didn't personally like it, but it was an interesting experience and I don't regert the timesink.

Oh and FWIW, you watch all 26 episodes of the TV show and then the finale movie End of Evangelion. If you liked those, there is an ongoing reboot series of movies, Rebuild of Evangelion, which you'll just want the director's cuts (1.11, 2.22, and 3.33). There are official subtitles, a BD release, and a pretty good for the time dub.

If you paid $30 for it, you kind of got ripped off: thing's $25 at the most.

I paid 9 dollars and about 15 with the shopping and everything. I thought that came with the bazooka and some hands too. I got this pic of the beam saber and one hand only tho, im going to ask to the shop about the sabers

The HGUC Unicorn split its accessories (and beam saber effects) between Unicorn and Destroy Modes. Destroy got the magnum, Unicorn got the bazooka.

And yes, it has some alternate hands, but that's just standard for most gunpla these days so I didn't bother mentioning it.

Not him, but it'z a great single player game. Try Next+ on a psp emulator and see if you like it, they're very similar

I think that's the first time I've heard the stereotypical foreigner-speaking-Japansese accent done by an actual foreigner in an anime. Hearing proper English pronunciation of the English words mixed in there is kinda weird.
