What was the real goal of Op Stardust? Why did Gato aim the colony at a granary instead of Jaburo? Wouldn't destroying Fed HQ serve as a more meaningful rally for the revival of Zeon?
Was it all just an elaborate preconceived false flag by the Feddies to trick Zeon Remnant into giving them more legitimate agency over the colonies, thus the rise of the Titans?
the colony drop was SUPPOSED to hit somewhere far more important, but because of all the shit that happened, the colony was knocked off course and fell into a place noone gives a shit about.
The Zeeks planned to drop the colony on a more important location, probably Jaburo
The feds planned to shoot down the colony in orbit but they didnt count on the neue ziel damaging the SS2
It was all a plan by Jamitov to bait the zeeks into dropping the colony and destroying the feddie fleet so he could create the TITANS

>Why did Gato aim the colony at a granary instead of Jaburo?
Because damaging their ability to grow food is arguably more important than just destroying their headquarters. They can just move if Jaburo gets it, which they do in Zeta.
>Was it all just an elaborate preconceived false flag by the Feddies to trick Zeon Remnant into giving them more legitimate agency over the colonies, thus the rise of the Titans?
It was almost entirely this. The Feds found out about it early on but decided to let it happen for the reason stated. Imagine Pearl Harbor, or 9/11.

A new series about a henshin heroes and giant robots.
Why is he so perfect?
What is he supposed to be?
Gamora in armor?
Gamora converted into a cyborg?
>>14009760
it's a robotic equivalent of gomora
like take gomora, make a digimon patterned after him, then put him back in the real world
>>14009773
But he is robbed of his free will, right?
That's like downloading a whale into a PC, photoshopping it into a submarine, uploading it to the real world and using that to invade Great Britain.

No one wanted ZZ, anon.
They are nothing alike.
First the character design of AKB is CRAP!
The character design of Macross Delta is VERY good!
This is what made me avoid AKB0048.
Also the mechs look like turd too.
Macross has awesome mechs.
Maybe AKB0048 was just Kawamori testing grounds on figthing Idols. That's why the mechs are crap and also the characters are shit.
we at macrossx.edu laughing?
Well this is a unique bait, I suppose.
>>14009231
holly shit, how do you know?
What's the music track that's playing in the scene where Enryu, hyoryu. furyu, and raifyu are training in china and fight a giant cannon?
I can't find this track any where not even in the sound track.
>>14008958
That rock guitar one? I have no idea. It isn't included with FINAL's soundtracks either. Either it was never released or it was just some stock music Sunrise used from one of their existing shows. Probably the latter, it doesn't sound very GGGish.
>>14009133
It might be from a previous braves show who knows
Some composers tend to use some songs from previous shows they've worked on, so it's possible that that could be the case with this show
I'm going through all the gundam series for the first time right now starting with the first one.
The only thing I want to know are there some supplementary manga or booklets I should read after or before certain series?
There are some manga, some tie into the main Gundam series, some are side stories.
Stuff like Crossbone ties well post F91. Others, like We Are Federation Hooligans, aren't essential to the big UC stories.
How're you enjoying MSG?
>>14008841
Enjoying it way more than I thought I would.
I like the characters even those that are from Zeon like Ral.
I thought it was really cool that some random ass soldiers without MS almost destroyed the gundam by planting bombs mid fight on the gundam.
Also a lot of people said that the animation would be a turn off, but it didn't really bother me since it felt nostalgic for some reason.
my favorite character is Kai so far, because he knows he is a coward and acts like douche sometimes , but he always steps up when it is needed.
Be aware that the Universal Century era stuff has the most material out of all Gundam series, animated or otherwise.
Why does Go Nagai draw the most stupidest faces?
>>14008270
Because it's fun
Does this get any better?
17 episodes in and it's just awkward 'romance', poor writing, filler episodes, and not nearly enough mecha.
Why do people like this?
It's pretty and has nice music.
>poor writing
Spotted the retard
I enjoy the development of the world and the characters residing in that world for the first 24 episodes and then the action packed slide of the second half. Anime is good, sound is great, the dub is pleasant. I do cringe at the filler, but this series is always a yearly watch for me.
E7 isn't for everyone. If you aren't really into it, you don't need to force yourself through watching the next 33 episodes.
Wait so are the Robotech Masters' soldiers clones, androids or mincronized Zentradi?
They keep flip flopping.
>>14008139
>It's a Carl Macek mishmash abortion episode
>>14008139
The explanation that seems to run through in the end is that they are clones utilizing biomechanical flesh parts (think Bishop androids from the Alien franchise). They're supposed to be a derivative form of Zentradi because protoculture is still used to make them, only they were never micronized. They were just made that way.
Yeah, the writing really sucks. Expect more of the same from everything else they try to continue on but can't quite make up their mind on. Its the same reason why they can't stick to a consistent timeline of what's going on or how old the characters are.
Its just one many things that makes Robotech hilariously bad.
Once The Masters starts they give up trying to be consistent because Robotech was just an excuse to put Macross on American TV anyways.
so that little 15 seconds of poor animation wasnt the only bit we'll get to see of the grimgerde right? cause i actually like this suit a lot.. i assume mika and it are gonna go toe to toe because they all think chocolate betrayed them
>>14008092
>MUH REVENGE
Literally the only reason why they'd ever fight against each other now. And Chocolate Man won't care because he's gonna run off after crippling the Gundam to get some of that loli poontang.

ha. maybe McGillis will have a blue verison and fight in that.

An upgraded Aqua GM that gets rid of most of the problems. Ultimately had no effect on the OYW.

Labors when?
Patlabor is a work of fiction.
But in ten years, who knows?
Until someone builds a robot that can actually lift one leg in front of the other, and a way to control it that an average Joe with high school education can learn, it's gonna be a long time.
Besides, the real question is, why would you need a Labor on a construction site? Buildings are built on flat ground, the only reason you would need the legs is to navigate rough terrain (which the construction equipment would clear out and flatten first anyways). An argument could be made for the arms, but cranes and backhoes can already do that stuff just fine.
Maybe it would be a better idea to build a sort of robot torso with arms that is an attachment for an excavator that replaces the bucket?
Then you could get a pair of arms into all sorts of weird places.
