The comfy crusher combo is a crushing move that is comfy for the user (because he's the one doing the crushing)
Would it be possible to be crushed by the comfy crusher combo in a way that is comfy for me (the one being crushed)?

so when does the greed pop out?
Can anyone here actually explain a tangible benefit to having giant robots use giant guns with finger holes and such ,instead of having weapons integrated into the arms?
I know Giant robots require a certain amount of logical leaps but wouldn't arm mounted machine guns or beam weapons be objectively better design? They wouldn't take up as much space or cost as much for manufacturing, you could never "drop" it or have the enemy grab and use it, and most importantly it wouldn't add as much to the overall weight that a huge rifle would.
Hell, you wouldn't even need a scope on them either if they're integrated into the machine already. The targeting system would be already accessible through the pilots chamber. I'm fine with Swords and large melee weapons being separate but huge guns doesn't seem like a good design decision.

Get outta here

Modular weapons have their advantages.
Drop your gun? Pick up a new one.
If your gun is internal, then shit's fucked if it breaks.
>>14220428
In Gundam, it's handwaved about it because mobile suits are actually surprisingly dexterous and able to control their strength quite well. In a side material manga, even pre-production Zakus (technically closer to the Waff than the Zaku I, the grandaddy of all mobile suits) are able to pick up plexiglass boxes with a wineglass inside filled with water without spilling it.
In other series, it depends entirely on the size of the mecha. If they're big enough that having hands is dumb, then yeah, then it's dumb.

Is that MD Geist 1 or 2? I've only seen the first one and don't remember the animation being that good.

The opening scene from the first movie

WHO ARE YOU?
Where the fuck do Alliance soldiers holster their weapons? They keep tucking their sidearms behind their backs but there's nothing there!thinly veiled LoGH thread

In the ass like real men.

Same place video game characters keep their 99 phoenix downs.
A pocket dimension called "inventory space."
same place this guy hides them
I liked SAC, is Arise worth watching too or will I just be disappointed?
>>14219811
If you don't see anything wrong with the picture you just posted, you probably won't be disappointed.
Be aware though that the Major, on top of looking creepy, has an unsettling backstory (I mean more than in SAC) and tends to fuck things up.
>>14219811
Yes!
Watch in this order.
OVA 4
OVA 1
OVA 2
OVA 3
AAA (the tv series) Eps. 9 & 10
The New Movie
This is the order of the television rebroadcast, and it's very, very good.
Character design sucks eggs.
It also shows a whole lot more than it tells. The major issue with the show is the Major's major not-cuteness.
However she is the best, in my view, animated version of her character.
One of the overall themes is memeory manipulation and that viewing order viewing order, which is essentially official, is great at accenting that mood. There's good techno-jargon, but it doesn't get bogged down by it.
You could also just watch the Alt. Architecture airing if the other seems too involved. There's just a few non-critical animation/scenes cut out.
Actually watch it, and I'm certain you'll like it.
It's not a sequel/prequel etc. either, but it does ape a few scenes for muh nostalgic references.
>>14219843
Yes, the series is clearly meant to be a prequel to the Oshii movies, but it does manange to humanize the Mokoto-character of those.
will japan ever make another one of these? most recent one i can sorta think of is Gundam Seed Battle Destiny.
and no exvs doesn't count. I can't fly a zaku I with a no named pilot.
an HD remaster of Gundam vs Zeta would be glorious.
>>14220026
>>14219756
I'd be down for either.
Feddie vs Zeon is what got me into gundam...
Is it bad that I JUST realized Ray and Charles were named after him?
>>14219754
Yes. It was so obvious even he saw what they did there.
>>14219754
>have you ever heard of a man called Robinson?
>>14219878
Ha!
Is there something like this for macross?
There are only like two worth watching, so there is no need.
this is all i have in my folders. Its more of a watch order than a recommendation chart.
>>14219553
>watch it whenever
>not production order
The early 90s animation should be seen before all the CGI stuff.
Le Gurren Lagan meme is tiresome

But I love pancakes

Shit, looks like I have to buy Overwatch now, thanks OP.
Finished Great Dangaioh last week.
I thought it was suprisingly kinda decent. It didn't have anything to wow anyone, but it gets the job done fine. Mostly I liked the fight scenes, music, and some of the characters.
My biggest issue is that it's not even finished, it ends in the most abrupt way possible(worse than the first), which sucks cause honestly I was genuinely interested the whole way through and they clearly were building up to something.
What did you guys feel?
It's an average super robot show that has the name dangaioh attached to it and for some reason mia alice is connected to all this.
It's a tribute show done in the wrong way. Instead of scattering subtle references to 70s~80s mecha anime throughout the show as fanservice, G Dangaioh was a show made almost ENTIRELY out of references. Take the first episode for example, it's one big reference to Mazinger Z with its mecha beast look-alikes and mad scientist, but you barely learn anything about the main cast or setting at the end. Even the abrupt ending you described is another big reference.
You must have a the taste of a saint, because I didn't think G Dangaioh was decent, I thought it was a huge pile of shit.
"Not muh Dangaioh!" aside, the characters, mecha, action and "plot" were really weak and terrible. I guess it's really cute that they decided that they'd blow through the typical mecha set up at the start, but then it's not so cute when they reveal that they've got nothing left up their sleeve afterwards.
Computer Monitor / Engrish thread?
Old ladies are for...?

Being best girl.
Minmayfags need to get some taste.
She's only 19. She's only "old" if you're an underage faggot.
>>14218501
Is there really such a thing as Minmayfags? She's so awful, how could anyone possibly like her? Not more than a day or so after wanting to marry Hikaru and die together with him, he's "just a friend".
u jelly?
I don't get it.
Nice blog post. Upvoted.
>>14218402
Where is your Gundam Breaker 3?
was it autism?
Maybe he's born with it.
Eggs a best.
How often does he plows his sister?
>>14217896
Never, he's too busy getting deals at the supermarket and doesn't arrive back before she's dead drunk, but I'd gladly take on the responsibility in his stead. He cooks eggs for her in the morning, I deal with the rest of her womanly needs.
>a Gundam's foot is indistinguishable from any other robots head
>>14217844
Spacal stability normalized version
>a Gundam's foot is its head
No, I sort of see what you're trying to get at with that slightly visor-ish looking part but I don't truly see it. No matter how I look at it, that's a foot or a shoe. It would not make a decent head.
