How many of you originally liked SEED when it came out but hate it now?
I still like it (SEED, not Destiny).
huh.
Don't care much about it but i've just realized that I've fapped to over a decade of Gundam SEED hentai.
>>14238256
>fapping to old doujinshi
Brings back memories, doesn't it?
>>14238245
I watched it for the first time a month ago or so. SEED isn't as bad as people say it is. It's bad, but the unintentional comedy is great, and some of the characters are great too. Kira isn't as much of a cunt yet, and Mwu and Rau are both great. Surprisingly solid dub too.
Destiny is trash though.
>My mobile phone!
How much history would have changed if Zeon actually managed to mass produce the Big Zam? The thing was practically unbeatable at long range, and tore through Salamis ships.
>>14238140
Hard to say. The Big Zam came late to the war and it could be killed by beam sabers. As such, federation GMs could kill it if they got close. On the other hand, with some Rick Doms for escort and it's I-field a Big Zam could carve through fleets in short order.
Overall, I think the Big Zam was simply too big and expensive to mass produce. Zeon was in too much of a resource crunch to properly fund a production line for Big Zams
>>14238374
The beam saber only worked after Drunky Mckamakazie Core Fighter suicided into the I-Field generator. The I-Field would more than likely disrupt the beam saber even if a GM got in close quarters if it were still active.
In space it would have been nearly unstoppable in large numbers with escorts. The only weapons selections that could do anything to it would be missiles and higher grades of explosive weapons. Machine gun rounds would most likely been to weak to pierce the units armor, so even some of the few units in space with access to those types of weapons would be useless against it.
Earth however, it would lose much of it's mobility and many units planetside were still using high velocity long range bombardment weapons, leaving the big zam as a massive sitting gun emplacement.
At best, Big Zam could have been used to rip past the Federations Luna II line and could have held the atmospheric defensive lines, but Earthside would still be hopeless without another colony drop or a weapon like the appsalus.
Sup /m/, I come to you with a bit of an odd question.
Do you guys have a recommended reading list when it comes to /m/-related fanfiction? I mean, I know that nine times out of ten, fanfiction is shit, and even in that 1/10th of good stuff, a lot of that is either unfinished or rarely updates.
Still, I figured that it wouldn't have hurt to have asked.

to answer your question, the father of peace, gundam unicorn and frozen teardrop are top-tier fanficitons, I highly rec
so how would the gundams from g gundam fair against other mobile suits in the UC if they were modified for space flight?
They already are, going by the last episode.
>>14236571
you're right. I actually completly forgot that scene.
>>14236561
The Gundams from G Gundam are technically Super Robots.
They would literally stomp all over shit.
Help a slow anon out, /m/. On rewatching Unicorn 0096, did Full Frontal intend for Banager to steal the Gundam and monitor its signals to find the La+ box? Why could he not pilot it himself if it was not stolen?
Also, NT-D being intended to kill newtypes - Why would the Vist foundation, which was intended to advance the idea of newtypes as the new human spreading empathy and understanding, want something that will make them obsolete? So that they are no longer used as tools of war?
Also, I am a dumbass but the new type moment with Marida was still moving.
It takes a true newtype (and not just the super jedi variety, but the kind who can mediate between others without being defined by ideologies or memes or whatever; essentially, someone neutral and empathic) to tame the NT-D and make it an extension of their self rather than the newtype rape automaton it would be under anyone else's control.
>>14236453
Interesting. So that is why it must be Banager.
>>14236580
There's also the fact that Cardeas locked the Unicorn to Banana, so it's not like anybody else can use the thing.

Hey /m/en, I just finished this a couple of minutes ago. I was going to watch it with /m/ back when the first 6 or so episodes were out, but uni work got tough so I had to put it back.
Honest thoughts, this is one of the best fucking gundam series I've seen, easily 8/10, was thinking of giving it a 9.
Its one of those few anime were I actually felt something for the charactersFumitan and Biscuit especially but also Gaelio's deaths ;_;7
So what did you guys thought about it if you don't mind me asking?
I noticed that people were really into it at first, then heard a bunch of people start to dislike it in the middle where it slows down a bit, but man, the last 7 episodes are fucking great.
>>14235519
The show was very good in the first 10 episodes, it started to get slow in the middle but then started to pick itself back up near the end. Until the final episode happened, made me put the show from a 7/10 to a 5/10

Does anyone have eps 1-13 of the mSubs version of Dragonar? All the mega links/torrents are dead. A mega link would be nice to them would be greatly appreciated.
>>14235277

***READ THE GUIDE***
For those new to gunpla/plamo or even just new to this thread; please read the guide. Please read it before asking questions as there is a chance it has already been answered there.
For those unfamiliar, "plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model". If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.
If you're new, you're gonna fuck up. Don't worry! If you're experienced, dont make the new people worry!
>Why won't anyone answer my question?
Try being specific, especially about your materials and process. Post pictures whenever possible; even if the kit/part looks bad, you are more likely to get help posting pictures.

Beargguy motherfucker
Since we all finally got our GN Archers, what's next on the NEVER EVER list?
>>14234263
Well since the preorders are up for 00 and SEED 1/100s that list is growing smaller for everyone by the day.
I think the only thing on my NEVER EVER list now is the HG GN Sword IV
But I'm sure I'll cave and pay rape prices for one sooner or later.
I just picked up the first volume of this series as a used bookstore. It's a goddamn shame it never got an anime adaption because it's fucking A.
>Badass protagonist
>Lewd android girl sidekick
>Perverted mad scientist grandfather
>Grandfather's assistants are all cute girls who want to be groped by him
>Awesome robots
>I fucking told you about letting them aliens terrorists in
>>14233439
Both /m/ and /a/ need protagonists like the one in this manga nowadays.
>>14233439
The ending is disappointing, but there are some nice/sick twists along the way. It does a good job of subverting a lot of super robot cliches.
>>14235476
No it doesn't, you stupid newfag.
You know something I'd like to see?
A show where the MC is a skilled, trained pilot. Who goes up against an enemy in a superior mecha. And while all his friends and comrades get effortlessly slaughtered, through skill and crafty maneuvering, he manages to just survive. But that's all. He never shoots down or even majorly damages the antagonist. All he can do is survive each encounter.
And every so often he gets newer and better designed giant robots, but even then he can't get the upper hand on the antagonist and he's just hemorrhaging allies cause the antagonist is just that OP. Nothing can stand up to him, he's callous in the method and ease of which he kills the MC's friends and allies. He even kills people who try to flee from battle. Not even the MC's love interest is spared.
I'm guessing what I'm saying is, I'd like to see something like Mobile Suit Gundam but from Char's point of view. I'm not seeing I want to see Mobile Suit Gundam but from Char's point of view, I'm saying I'd like to see something LIKE it. As that's the closest thing I can think of that matches what I'm desiring.
Heavy Object doesn't really match up either.
But I know such a thing will never happen.
>>14233096
You just described Gilligan's Island as a mecha show, essentially tune in to watch the MC and pals dick around for about 18 minutes then completely fail to achieve the main task of getting off the island.
FUCK.
THAT.
SHIT.
That is the dumbest idea, and you should feel bad for wanting it.
Oh I guess Yukikaze kinda fits the bill in the sense that the good guys fight to "not lose" against an incomprehensible alien enemy but it doesn't change how utterly retarded your idea pitch sounds.
>>14233120
Yeah but Gilligan's Island didn't have something actively keeping them on the island, nor were they steadily losing more and more of the island.
I suppose, depending on the author, it could make for a good despair simulator.
