How is it actually the best? I thought it would get better going onward, but so far nothing has measured up to the original series. My question is now that I'm about to finish up the UC content, I'm going to watch more early Sunrise stuff amd I was wondering if shows like Dougram, Xabungle, Ideon, etc. are just as good? Did Sunrise just have some really good story writers working for them? I just wanna re-live the feeling of watching 0079 for the first time again.

But it's like a lot of real world theoretical tech - you COULD make something fancy and expensive, but often the older conventional tech does just fine if not better.
