I've recently realised that I don't have much of an affect on others
people like me well enough and enjoy my company, but they don't think of me outside of when I'm actually there
similarly women have found me attractive but they've never truly loved me or left a lasting impression on them
this is really weighing heavy on me
what are some books that explore this feeling?

I sincerely want a book that conveys this

don't read something that will feed your emotions, read something that will open your mind, change the way you see things and become a more critical thinker.
Check out The Turner Diaries to start. It's pretty good.

I empathize. Read Stoner.

I won't recommend you a novel, but a very short tale written by Jorge Luis Borges: The house of Asterion. You can find it easily on the Internet.

The nature of being a man is being alone OP.
It's women who have affectionate people around them; men are destined to be alone.
Just look at any dating website for some corroborative evidence. 20% of the men, get 80% of the women, so even if you are above average looking, chances are you'll die alone anyway.
