How am I supposed to know?
>>7316931
Read widely and analyse what you're reading and write and then read and analayse and write some more.
>>7316931
Read a lot and write a lot. No other way.
>>7316971
Yes and yes. It's not a bad idea to actively study grammar though.
>>7316975
Read and write. The only way.

what do you guys write usually?
I know many people give themselves "1000 words a day" or some rule like that, but about what? You always continue a story? You create many short ones? You write a diary?
>>7316996
Anything you feel like. I do 1000 words of fiction a day. If I'm working on a novel, I'll work on that. If I'm not, I'll work on short stories. But I know journal/diary type stuff is helpful for some people.

I do 6000 words a day but it's just the same three words over and over again.I am nothing I am nothing I am nothing I am nothing

Read only the finest books there is (more important than reading "a lot").
Write only significant things (more important than writing "a lot").

By writing better.

nah man
that's not for all
i am a stoner myself, and although i've had some weird ideas while high, i can't really work while high
>>7318303
There seems to be a sweet spot for me. If I'm a little high, just one hit from a pipe, the ideas seem to flow out almost effortlessly. If I'm higher than my imagination is going too fast for me to write down and if I get any higher whatever I right is purely automatic, like I don't know what I've written until after I've registered the words on the screen. The automatic stuff is only useful as poetry, it tends to be short choppy and esoteric.
