Reminder that Luther's concepts of faith before works is predicated on a misunderstanding of Pauline discussions regarding works of jewish law rather than Jame's ideal of works of righteousness demonstrating faith.

Thoughts on Enid Blyton
was she a hack?
>first grade
>had to make a book about a letter
>had use 5 sentences about words starting with the latter
>wanted to be a smartass and make it about Q
>couldn't think of 5 examples
>used professor Quentin
>knew that proper names didn't count but still did it because I understood the teacher would let it slide for me
I feel like this episode is indicative of why my life turned out like it did.
>started millennia ago
>normies never understood it
>has deep meaning... but it's up to you to find it
>still no one knows what the fuck everyone is talking about

My body is made out of memes.
My blood is of Shadilay and my heart of Kek.
I have overcome countless battlefields.
Not even once retreating,
Not even once being understood.
He was always alone, intoxicated with victory in a hill of memes.
Thus, his life has no meaning.
That body was certainly made out of memes.

They managed to take a knock off of the Nazi Kriegsmarine flag and make it into a symbol of classical liberalism.
Hey, /lit/. I'm an idiot in a similarly retarded situation.
I'm supposed to write a 8 page research paper on a certain topic. Easy, huh? Well...
The class was originally taken for fun, but on top of my more study-intensive classes it was cast to the back--I thought I'd hit a bout of inspiration and write the paper in a day or three. And here I am.
It's due in a few hours and I don't know what to do. Not turning it in isn't an option, but isn't it too late to pay someone to write it? Can't I try to artfully "borrow" someone else's work?
I wouldn't be asking this if I wasn't hideously tired...I honestly am having trouble staying awake and I don't know how to proceed from here. Failing really isn't an option. I wrote down some notes and sources on the subject. Some of it could be the beginnings of something, but I don't know how to even write that quickly. I'm a slow writer.
I know I sound like an awful and stupid person...still, I need some help here. What should I do?

Any decent university will catch any potential plagiarism. Your only hope is to write as much as you can and pray for a pity d or c.
Kill yourself
Are you trying to be a writer? Try to write something short, but the worst thing you can imagine.
Clichés, spelling/grammar errors, obscenity, embarrassing subjects, throw it all in. So you can never feel ashamed of what you write again. Post here please.

Nice thread, I'll give you a bump
My bunghole stings from the poops I just made. For the first time I understand the pleasure of a gaping anus. It is close to ineffable but I will try: the warm, mildly painful sense of pure pleasure radiates from the brown eye and into the belly. It is a hearty feeling for sure, with a tinge of eroticism.
Do you guys also feel this way after you make poops?

>In Dostoevsky's parable medieval Catholicism is a prototype of atheistic socialism
-"Orthodox Christianity, Volume I"
Is this cognate with Nietszche? I would argue no, since Dostoevski's examination has to do with freedom, whereas Nietzsche's evaluation is more armchair psychology.
You can see here how Eastern Rite Catholics are treated
>After the First Vatican Council concluded an emissary of the Roman Curia was dispatched to secure the signatures of the patriarch and the Melkite delegation. Patriarch Gregory and the Melkite bishops subscribed to it, but with the qualifying clause used at the Council of Florence attached: "except the rights and privileges of Eastern patriarchs.".[22][25] He earned the enmity of Pius IX for this; during his next visit to the pontiff Gregory was cast to the floor at Pius' feet by the papal guard while the pope placed his foot on the patriarch's head.[26]

Scholasticism was the predecessor to freethinkers, the inquisitions were the forerunners to the purges, and the papacy was the forerunner to the idea of a one-world totalitarian (not merely authoritarian) state legitimized by an ideology of the common good.
>This Church, like a chaste virgin, has alone been preserved from apostolic times in its original, immaculate purity; this Church, which with its profound dogmas and small external rituals has, as it were, been brought down from the heavens to the Russian people, is alone able to undo all the knots of doubt and answer all our questions…And yet we do not know about this Church! We have not yet brought this Church, which was created so that we might live, into our lives! Only one kind of propaganda is possible for us—our own lives. We must defend our Church with our lives, for she is life; and we must proclaim her truth by the fragrance of our souls.
-Gogol's "Selected Correspondence", as quoted in "Orthodox Christianity, Volume I"

What I like to do is buy books on amazon, use calibre to remove DRM, save to computer, then return the book.
I do it once in a while.
Doesn't work with rented books tho

Only returned three books this year on Amazon and they require me to call them now for further returns... How exactly are you bypassing this? By actually calling them?
>>9657693
Fuck you. Amazon is one of the best companies out there at the moment. They provide unbeatable customer service, but you're going to ruin it with this shit. If you can't afford a few bucks: get a job. People like you are going to make them clamp down on sideloaded books on Kindles.
